As a former Jehovah's Witness who was taught since childhood to see the world from a "them and us" point of view and was told to wait on Jehovah to solve our problems, It was heartening to hear that people in Paris were sending out "Tweets" offering stranded strangers cups of tea and places to stay in their own homes. I love how generous people are and how quickly individuals will step up to help. I'm glad there were others who taught their kids to see the good in humanity rather than utterly broken and unsalvageable.

Because they want to initiate conflict and bad feeling and stir up sentiment against the people fleeing - these are the moderates who didn't want to live under the Sharia ISIS regime - this is a good point, but I feel uneasy trusting that ISIS are lying. I'd feel more confident if the border agencies had a reliable system in place for tracking jihadis and turning them away.

I simply don't understand why the only thing that happens to them is they get followed around for a bit until it becomes too much effort. They were non-military combatants. Make it a crime to go to a war-zone unless you are an official soldier or a registered aid worker - me, too.

I mean, a jihadi travels to Islamic State. He indulges in a little light beheading, then it all gets a bit boring. These are precisely the venues that represent Western values despised by fundamentalist Islam. Jihadists have been encouraged by radicals to target these sorts of locations for years.

This is sad and infuriating all at once. Again, France had been attacked. The Charlie Hebdo shooting happened back on Jan 7, 2015.

The key to getting the upper hand on ISIS is to remove their established caliphate. We must not back off from this.

Not too long ago, people of the eastern European countries were fleeing their countries as refugees.

How many of them were implementing one party, communist rule in Western Europe? How many Westerners were killed by Poles? Do I should remain you, how many political refugees from Nazi Germany accepted Czechoslovakia prior 1939? Do you know that Thomas Mann got Czechoslovak citizenship as a refugee prior Nazi takeover of Prague? There were thousands of them like him. Or it is something you citizens of western, pre-Islamic Europe are refusing to acknowledge?

Obviously, Paris yesterday was not enough for you to acknowledge a problem Western Europe has with Islamists. You will never learn, and I hope, Americans will not rescue you for the third time from European mistakes.
