It is totally ridiculous for apologists to blame individual instead religion and Islamic ideology that calls to kill all infidels, Jews, Christians, and secular Muslims - indeed.

And some apologists strangely have no qualms blaming an outburst by AM3 or Lett on the Watchtower Society as a whole, while of course ignoring all those decent, balanced JWs. But Islam? "Don't you dare, you racist!"

    Curious ...

It is no coincidence that these coordinated attacks targeted restaurants, bars, a major sporting event and a music concert.

They probbly didn't target the casino, the strip club, and off sales because that's where they were the night before/their mates usually hang out.

The WTS will always pale in comparison to other faiths in terms of the threat and hurt it causes but you're right, if you criticize Islam then suddenly it's the end of the world and how dare you be critical of another's faith.

They want to pretend they are liberal but they don't understand what it really means - standing up for fundamental rights and values, not chastising people because of misplaced political correctness.

Being liberal isn't the same as being weak. Walk softly but carry a big stick ... and be willing to beat the crap out of any jihadist you come across.

Liberal values are poorly defended in the UK, perhaps because they're poorly understood.

Being liberal means tolerating a range of views on any given topic, as long as violence isn't committed or incited.

For instance, a liberal society should tolerate someone saying "I think gay marriage is wrong." Now, I don't agree with this view and I'm sure most at JWN don't agree with it, and we're free in a liberal society (and here on this forum) to criticize that idea to death.

What should not be tolerated is: "my religious belief tells me that gay people should be killed."

Sadly, British society doesn't do so well in standing up to people that promote the above idea.

Centuries hence, historians will look back on our age and wonder "what on earth was wrong with British society at that time?"

I have to agree with Freemind. The largest or one of the largest communities in Dearborn MI does not go around killing people but were dancing in the streets on 9/11. Why ? Because they were HAPPY duh.

Given that so many are executed by members of one certain faith I would suggest that is factually incorrect unless you believe execution of a homosexual immediately triggers someone else to change their orientation to make up the numbers

well now thats just being silly

In saudi and the caliphate yes of course you'd be killed if caught but Believe me no amount of laws changes human nature.

But my point is that I lived in north Africa and pre marriage homosexual relationships are not unnusual & much more culturally accepted (at least used to be, things may have changed lets face it it's not even safe for tourists now)

    Check out William Burroughs...Tangiers anyone?

    @Diogenesister

In what way are/were homosexual relationships culturally accepted?

The fact that there is no Gay Pride event anywhere across MENA (except for Israel) speaks for itself, I think.

It will be worse. Since August train attack, there were indications that something big is about to happen. Hungary warned France on October 30, but Holllande responded that Hungarians are xenophobics and should be kicked out of EU together with Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Poland. Last week he hinted during Polish government transition that Putin should teach Poles a lesson and invade them. French, Dutch, Germans, and Swedish instead whining against Central European states should do more in protecting their country. French public should demand Hollande head and resignation of the entire cabinet. But this is too much to ask, and like in January, they will make nice peace rally in the streets of Paris and attack Poland, Hungary for being protective of their country and being selective who can enter their territory.

It will be a matter of time when WMD will be used by Islamist, but French have a problem with Polish plummer.
