What was the biggest lie that you have ever told any JWs while you were still a JW?
by Iamallcool ini was deleted as ms some years ago, a brother thought i became an elder.
at the circuit assembly, he asked me if i am elder now, i said yes so the brother told me all of the gritty details about his wife and her sister that got disfellowshipped at the same time.
they went out with the worldly guys and they both got pregnant.

"You Might Be An Apostate If!" JW Grandma words yesterday!
by HelpMeBelieve ingrandma is concerned about my spirituality, worried i don't use lingo like "faithful slave", "annointed elders", "waiting on jehovah, endure the bafflegabbing, prevaricating lying friends" .
"you speak too much about love, use jesus of nazareth's name too much!
you speak the way apostates speak!

Did guilt force you into relationships with negative or selfish people?
by HelpMeBelieve inhow much force did guilt play into your relationships with other witnesses?
we wasted so much of our lives chasing things that are not real, love that was highly conditional and relationships with people that evaporated once we started to fade away.. .
i would force myself to talking with nutty brothers who seemed to be "short their rent each month, never able to catch up".

Are the Jehovah's Witnesses able to fully/completely understand the Bible on their own without being dependent on the Elders?
by I_love_Jeff ina popular jehovah's witness on yahoo answers by the name of bar-anerges says:.
can jehovah's witnesses come to a *complete* knowledge of *every* doctrine on their own?
the scriptures and practical experience prove otherwise (we believe that where individuals are isolated, god will judge them by what they do know).how true is this statement?

by RubaDub inatlantis .... thank you for posting the september 3, 2012 boe letter regarding recommendations for speakers and translators at the district conventions.. i, rub a dub, as a member of jwn in good standing, make a motion that the we [jwn] recommend that the interpreter for american sign language at the next district convention to be the cute little brother from the society's masturbation video.
we give him an "a" in all categories.. if approved, the request will be sent to the circuit overseer.. does anyone wish to second the motion?.

Can we change adjust our usernames? I don't need help any more to believe.
by HelpMeBelieve ini've heard enough to make my stomach sick, childish talk from two-faced liars, hipocritical "the friends" "the bestest people on earth", blah blah blah!.
the rampant gossip is breaking me down, i think there is no such thing as a "best friend" in thee watchtower universe of pulp fiction.
slander, malicious bitter back-biting.

Let's talk about Psychology and the JWs
by cptkirk ini should put out a series on this, taking one aspect of psychology and applying it to jw madness one facet at a time.
i think this is really a great one too, because oh god, the flood of thoughts in my mind right now, i could write an entire book..... lets look at one very specific point, self responsibility, but not only self responsibility, but also how we ascribe responsibility to others (in the borg terms).. we all know that this religion is mainly built on what?
status, and cult power right?

http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/200512/field-guide-narcissism .
everyone has been burned once or twice by a narcissistic nut, so it's good to have a field guide to identify the social, emotional predators before they put their fangs into you!
