Armaggeddon may occur invisibly
by mankkeli inat the end of today's meeting, some over-righteous friends were discussing the various possibilities of armaggeddon occuring invisibly, considering the explanation given within the "parousia" domain on the invisible presence of christ in 1914. they reffered to some articles which i am presently looking through.. .
while he was sitting upon the mount of olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence [pa?rou?sia, greek] and of the conclusion of the system of things?.
"in our day, then, what is meant by the biblical expression the presence of our lord jesus christ?

Mass Apostasy- Sign of the LordÂ’s presence
by mankkeli inthis quote is from the watchtower 1980 8/1.
"are you profoundly shocked and unduly disturbed when you see or hear of a christian you know yielding to doubts, cooling off and perhaps even becoming rebellious to the point of deserting the christian congregation and trying to draw others away with him?
if so, you may be comforted in knowing that, sad as such occurrences may be, the scriptures forewarn us that they will happen.. among the various causes of apostasy, one of the foremost is unquestionably a lackoffaith through doubt.

Why Certainty About God is Overrated
by leavingwt infrom today's usa today .
why certainty about god is overrated.
some atheists like richard dawkins and christopher hitchens are similarly locked into their certainty about the non-existence of god.

Sleeping with the enemy
by Nickolas ini have been wondering of late about the extent to which jwn's minions (one of whom i am beginning to see myself to some extent) differentiate the machine from its parts.
what i mean is, what degree of separation is discerned between the watchtower bible and tract society and its individual members?.
henry milner, who is a polical scientist at the university of montreal, posits that those who rely heavily on the internet for their information ultimately become dogmatic.

Critical Intelligence - Best tool for resolving problems
by mankkeli inwe can discover no purpose or providence for the human species.
no deity will save us; we must save ourselves.
promises of immortal salvation or fear of eternal damnation are both illusory and harmful.

Is it possible to completely forget the JW experience.
by mankkeli ini am wondering if it is possible to completely forget our jw experience after a long time, and live life as if we have never been one.
no memories, no bitterness, no meeting up with ex-members, nothing connected to the jws in our feelings.. is this ever possible, could it ever happen, and how long possibly..

The JW experience, God and Mental Issues
by mankkeli incontinous thought about the existense of god, the creator deity and the source of the supernatural can be very confusing, and if not properly checked and put under control, it can lead to mental issues.
coming along with this experience is also the jw sophistications.. from all dimensions, the jw experience has been proven to be a terrible one, the more i think of it, the more horrible it feels inward, some may wish to reverse time and live differently without the jw acquiantance while others may feel the experience had its own benefit despite enormous odds, it might have given them the opportunity to see the world from a different perspective while for some it was a complete waste of time.. those who finally discovered the deceits of the organisation and its destructive machinations but still remained in like myself are finding everyday life difficult, the thought of being abandoned and shunned by 9 family members is terrifying.
attending all the meetings and not finding joy in them anymore is not just a waste of time but an abuse of the human mind.

"Who created the intelligent creator?"
by mankkeli indid the complexity of life arise spontaneously, or did it require a creator?christians believe that a creator is essential.
scientists believe that the idea of a "creator" is pure mythology, and that the complexity arose through natural processes like evolution.
you can actually answer this question yourself with a little logic.
