While in South Lake Tahoe, most who choose not to sleep in a tent go over to the hotels near "State Line" on the California side just a short walk from the casinos of Nevada. Others go ahead and stay at the casino hotels:

Very good weekend. Fantastic conversation.

We counted 48 between 5-6 campsites. ( i think )
Met someone from my old home town where I grew up.
Last time I saw him we were remodeling a kingdom hall about 27 years ago! We must know about 40 common old friends between us.
Found old a good number had left the ORG.
We had 10 in our site. 6 were Ex-jws from my area. It was really nice to see so many happy and free people.
Next year, make the effort to be there!!
Well, you all inspired me to finally join the board! We just got home after a LOOONG day of driving...
Thank you to everyone for welcoming me and my family and for engaging so openly and honestly in all our conversations! We will definitely make plans for next year. And next time, we're bringing our sleeping bag and tent! Those Tahoe nights are burr-cold!!!

What a great group of people. It's getting to be like a family reunion (a GOOD family reunion) - kids, people all ages. Everyone's really cool - no jerks!
Was nice to see new faces, too.
If you can't make it here next year I highly recommend starting one up in your own area. We have made awesome friends.

Had a beautiful loong day driving through Yosemite, staying the night in Sonora. Had grub (lobster taquitos) at famous Lee Vining Mobile startion across from Mono Lake.
it was hard to say "good-bye" to everybody this morning. Great group...so MANY stories...there is a lot of crap going on out there in the congregations. Wow.
Great meeting so many new ones...we love you. I'm so proud of every one...and the stands they are making in some truly difficult situations. The journey may be difficult,but the end is worth the trouble. 🍻
