    Wow, what a great list.

I remember several of those mentioned here and some others. Reading this really jogged my memory.

Perhaps the next time a thread like this is posted I can join in and throw my names into the hat with you all.

I looked through this whole thread hoping someone would have posted the CO's name who I absolutly loved the most but can't remembe his name! He was very tall, silver hair (they called him the Silver Fox). Served in California then was sent to Arizona where he finally retired from Circut work and eventually died there in the late 90's. Very nice guy, his wife was equally nice. Wish I could remember his name, darn, he really loved people and it showed.

hambreak I remember Bros Manfredi in the LA area. I was pretty young just remember the name and seeing him at assemblies.

Cantwell was one I remember from my teen years, he seemed to really be cracking down us teenagers all the time!

Maneria is another one I remember.

Lenard Bell, I liked him big guy, friendly and not all haughty, his wife was really nice too.

I have heard stories about this CO. I am told he gave a talk about blood. It started out, "Blood is a wonderful thing, it engorges the ...etc.,etc."

Also, he would go out in service on Monday's, his day off.

Bill and Roslyn Kalandros (party animals)

Ohhh yeah. I remember them very well. They managed to hook up w/ a "sister" whose hubby was wealth. She would take them on vacation with her. A couple of times my mother and I went with the group as well. They were very different on their vacations then in real JW time.

The names are getting harder to remember since it was so long ago, but I remember the following names. Bro. Langley, kind of a "meh" speaker from what I remember. Bro. Athelete (or something like that) Block. If I remember correctly, he was a very good speaker, and always threw in little jokes. I kind of enjoyed having him as a Circuit Servant. Bro Pellecia (sp?). Good speaker, very friendly to the rank and file witnesses. Had a VERY German wife. Seemed like nice people. Then there was the others, who's names I can't recall, but they were kind of assholes.

I remember liking Marie and Wilbur Philson, and I liked Mary Jo Suen but pretty much detested Kin.

    KidA,

Brother Lum (can't recall his first name) : He was a real "organization" man, I thought he was a cyborg.

I remember him well, his name was Norman and his wife looked a little like Condeleeza Rice, you know, as if she had got her head from the New Guinea Headhunters Special Edition catalogue.

Lum was/is a duplicitous, slimey, stunted little phoney and a mean-spirited ugly weasel with a heart of cold, that is the good part, but I am not going to tell you about his bad side as this would be a futile excercise and I will not fall to his level of behavior.

Why the fascination with these men? I posted here also. It shows how much influence they had on our lives? And why do some of us still refer to them as Brother. Is this nostalgia? I feel sorry for them AND us.
