A little banty rooster of a guy named Bennett was our last CO right before I took the walk in 1981. Maybe the same as posted a couple of times above? I heard he had passed away some years back.

Among many other little gems, he spent about 30 minutes of his Saturday Night special talk to the congregation to warn us of the dangers of processed sugar (and how it can make your kids hyperactive). I did not know until we had a Bennett thread a while back that he was a diabetic & an obsessive vegatarian, so maybe that puts some context on it.

This was also the little twerp who informed the congregation (in that same talk) that the reason God made Dinosaurs was so their bodies could get squished down and that was where we got petroleum. I called him on it after the meeting and he pulled out his ultimate trump card of proof - which was:

the Sinclair Oil Company had a Green Dinosaur on its logo.

It was during that visit that I told Bennett to his face that I thought the Society had become too monolithic and that I was resigning as an Elder.

He did not know what "monolithic" meant and had to ask me for the definition.

Ya, I couldnt remember his first name and misspelled his last name . The bros built he and Blossom a house on the grounds of the San Antonio Assembly Hall.

There was a write-up in the WT a few years back on his wife Blossom's family. Her dad was Judge (his real name) Norris. When the brothers in San Antonio were thrown in jail back in the day, he went down to the jail and said: "Im Judge Norris and I want you to let these men out of jail." They promptly did so thinking he was a judge.

Anybody ever have S.A. (Augie) Jensen? The "S" stood for "Sven", and you'd be on his $#!+ list if you ever used it.

Had him when I was a wee lad. Once there were too many babies crying during one of his talks, and he scolded the mothers for not respecting "the decorum" of a place of worship. He wasn't too popular.

    Mulan...

I remember Bill Green from when I was a kid in northern CA in the late '60's (if it's the same one)...pretty big guy...I think he said he played football or could have at one time. He came to our house for dinner. My dad, a servant, liked him and he seemed very nice...can't remember his wife. I remember he tested my bible knowledge and as a kid I really wanted to impress him. He asked me a trick question...well it wasn't that trick. I just didn't catch it as he asked me, "How many clean & unclean animals did Moses take into the ark?" I kept repeating "2 of the unclean and 7 of the clean", not noticing he had said Moses instead of Noah. Ok I wasn't that bright of kid. Last time I saw Green was at a C.A. in Yuba City California.

As for Michaelson (if it's the same) did he have a slight accent? Dutch maybe?

And I also remember Prouton (SP?). He liked to golf and called everyone "blockhead." This was in the '90's and I had the very spiritual wife and kids...perfect Dub fam except I never got dunked (hush falls over congregation)...but I was well thought of (at least to my face) because I attended all the meetings, approved of everything...but no matter how many elders I studied with I was always able to slip out of getting dunked. Anyway, I was so approved of that the Prouton's came to our home for lunch even though I was undunked. I remember I was going to ask him a few tough questions after lunch (questions my study masters couldn't answer) but he left abruptly after lunch...must have been Holy Spirit guiding him out.

sir82, I remember Augie Jensen. That was some ago.

I remember Konjevich who was single when he started in the DO work. His future wife followed him from circuit to circuit making sure he knew how humble she was by cleaning the restrooms.

Anybody remember Ruben Kobos or Don Breaux?

    Blondie

It's only been 5 years I've been away, and I can't believe I cannot remember those names I knew so well.

Oh yes on Ruben Cobos, he is still alive and kicking but active in a bloodless surgery clinic here in SoCal and travel agency. We call him the "celebrity witness."

    Brandozzi

"Just call me 'Uncle Nick'" Kovalack

Emshoff was single right? Sort of swinging single CO. Liking the ladies.

    Garrett

    Jaracz B4 GB

    Alonzo Hawkins

    Schlegal

    Manera

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Razor. The absolute worse I've ever seen...kept getting transferred to new assignments after too many complaints...the last I heard they put him in Hawaii.

Knickmeier (wait..he was worse than Razor.)

Best ever was Dave Thomas and his "color me beautiful wife" Trujean. Still around serving as an elder in Malibu last I heard. They should get some of his DNA and clone him, a truly fine brother.

Many many more...but I'm getting clues from other posts.
