New Wave JW's . . . I sort of got a chuckle out of this one.
by Corvin inthe apostates over at e-watchman's forum are dillusional .
first class spiritual nutjobs, if you will.
we know they do not consider themselves to be apostate, but they believe they will do the most good by staying in the organization so that when the foundations of the society are shaken, and they believe it will happen soon, they will be there to aid and comfort the jw's who don't know what to do or where to go.

What was the point of Jesus "examining the churches" back in the day?
by M.J. ini may have this wts doctrine all wrong, so correct me if that's the case.. .
my understanding of it is this: back in 1914 jesus returned to claim back an earthly kingdom which had since been destroyed since the state of isreal fell to babylon.
however, when he got down here jesus didn't quite immediately set up a new kingdom (or "organization", or "channel", or "theocracy", or "faithful discreet slave"), since he had to look over all the churches first to see which one was closest to being the "true" church.

E-Watchman Provides a Sickening Reminder
by Corvin inmy brief membership to the e-watchman's site was a sickening reminder of the brainwashing and hypocrisy of the wtbts.
through my sources, i have obtained a rare picture of the illusive e-watchman.
why does he look so familiar to me .

The TRUTH for dummies. Chapter 1
by beaker inbeing only newly freed from the wts, there are many people who were my friends that i would like to be able to explain the truth about many of the points raised on this board.
so i have decided to compile a publication that i can mail to them with short succinct, hardhitting reasoning on areas where the wts is misleading them and also areas where they are saying one thing but practising another.
i would like to be able to limit the explanations to one topic per page with the hope that if there is not too much too read they may just bother to read it.

What to tell the persistant JW that keeps coming to the door?
by M.J. ini have a friend who is constantly getting bugged by a jw co-worker who keeps coming to his house to preach to him.
he's usually not home but she keeps disrupting the family.
she's caught him like 2-3 times as he was already on his way out, so he's never taken the time to really talk to her much.

Why don't JWs observe Kosher laws? or Should JWs eat that juicy steak?
by M.J. inaccording to ajwrb.com, even a thorough bleeding of a slaughtered animal leaves as much as 50% of its blood in the flesh.... since jws are so emphatic about not "taking in blood" when it comes to blood transfusions, what is their reasoning for not observing kosher laws, at least with regard to the draining of the blood?
do most jws feel conflicted over eating a juicy and bloody rare steak?
is there any official prohibition against this?

Please Help me with Answers to my Questions.....
by nemo insince joining the board and doing research, i have found out so many things about the organization and feel no longer compelled to preach or go to meetings.
my friends are not taking me missing meetings well, things are not going to be fun.
but this is my decision and i plan to fade away, because of this decision it leaves me with so many unanswered questions...... which bible is viewed as the most accurate?.
