AMERICANS!! A Brit needs help
by searcher inok so heres the deal.. having always wanted to visit america, i would like to set up a months multi-centre holiday (thats a vacation lol).. problem, i have never travelled abroad except when organised by the military, so i have no idea whats involved.
i dont even know whether or not to bring towels.
lol.. i can set up flights to/from the states here (even interstate flights), but when i get there i will be the original innocent abroad.. what i need.

by searcher inthe nwt is a trnslation of the bible.(jw).
the jw's believe that something is only true if there are two witnesses.. the question is... why do the jw's belive that the nwt is a 'true translation' when there is only one witness to it.

Great talk at the KH today
by searcher ini went to a kh near me today, they had a guy from london bethel talking.
he had some interesting things to say.. he did the talk in two parts, in the first half hour he was comparing 'this system of things with the titanic, and saying a lot about how the people on the titanic were carrying on normaly when the ship hit the berg.
then he went on about people had to 1, believe that the ship would sink and 2, have faith that the lifeboats would save them.

Searcher has arrived
by searcher inwell folks, its finally here, and so am i, searcher in the us .
i landed at dfw airport at 1.45 today(tues) and the first thing that happened is that they were'nt going to let me in the country !!!!.
seems i had to provide an address for where i am staying and i didnt have one.. after much paper stamping we got it all sorted and i was able to procede.. outside the door of the customs hall i am met with an armfull of flying jesika, and a grinning navigator and moreisbetter, so its off to a bar for a drink, then back to nav's house for a cool off in the pool.. tommorow i am told, we are meeting for lunch at risky's in the stockyards, so anyone around should call in.. thats all for now, will post more as it happens.. american searcher..
