I love this site , I really do
by smiddy inwhere else can ex jw`s, current jw`s, lurkers, and anybody else who for one reason or another comes to this forum to put forward a question ,seek an answer , debate a point ,or just stir the pot ?
and is not somehow going to go away much the wiser ?
the serious topics are equivalent to a univerity education often with references that are priceless.the debates about god or no god are priceless too.and of course their are many humourous sides to many of the posts ,some cases taking the mickey out of our serious questions, all in good humour.

One scripture in 45 minutes
by WinstonSmith infurther evidence that the wts values it's own publications above the bible.
in the last 45 minutes of our meeting, there was only one scripture used.
from the end of the number three talk through to the final song - one single solitary scripture.. the number three talk finished.

Things you must avoid at all cost!!
by redvip2000 ini'd like to ask if you recall certain things you were forced to avoid or throw out because they were supposedly demonic, or connected with the occult, or even just plain bad.. i remember we were told to avoid the harry potter movies and books, because he is a magician.
also acdc music.. lol.. .
and oh yeah, during a talk an elder specifically mentioned the show "married with children", because it was a bad example of how a family should behave.
