Can the Watchtower Society survive without time reports?
by DT inthere has already been much discussion about how the watchtower society has declared in australia that going door to door is part of a personal ministry.
this seems to be a lame attempt to avoid liability considering that they require time reports and have formal meetings for field service at the kingdom hall.. this is a bit of a dilemma.
reporting time and formal meetings for field service are important methods of control, however it's not clear if the organization is willing or able to handle the potential liability that may come from this.. imagine what would happen if they lost these methods of control.

Lessons To Be Learned From Morpheus
by undercover ini've lost count of how many times i've seen the matrix, but every time i see it, i pick up on some other tidbit.
sometimes it's something i forgot over the last few viewings, other times it's something i never focused on, or gave much thought to before.. well, this last time i focused on something morpheus said, and realized that if fits pretty darn well with those of us who, while mentally free and even inactive, are still part of the construct due to family connections, or similar.. we make it a point, over and over and over, here on the board that until a jw is questioning or doubting on their own, nothing we do, no amount of evidence contrary to wt teachings is going to convince them of their being trapped in a cult.. in other words.... the matrix is a system, neo.
that system is our enemy.

Views on handing out literature during field service
by Joey Jo-Jo init is brought to my attention that some non jw's deliberately accept jw literature just to throw it in the bin.. their intentions are perceived as positive meaning these non jw's throwing their magazines away is a good thing.. what is your view on the matter?.
should they accept or not accept their literature, and why?.
is accepting literature benefiting or damaging the cult, and why?.

WT and the Illuminati - truth or fiction?
by SnowQueen ini've been reading around this subject of late and it seems to make a lot of sense.
i'm wondering if anyone is convinced and/or has seen anything that can substantiate or corroborate the 'facts' set out in these arguments.. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/bloodlines/russell.htm.
i was particularly fascinated to read the following:.
