Addictive........well.... I have tried to get on with things, but then something happens, I get a bit annoyed about something, or I want to know about something that I have heard about in dub world and back I come, and generally it is mentioned here...even before the dubz in dubdom know about it, and I love that.

I finally did it!!
by Irreverent ini volunteered and gave blood for the first time this past tuesday.
my heart condition has improved to the point that my doctor okayed my donating blood.
i am kind of a wuss when it comes to shots and needles; but being in a hospital in intensive care gets you over that.

I say, good work. This is a very good way of quietly being able to get a point across, that she will think about later.
This also raises an interesting side point. Just in the last week or so we have noticed a difference in the way the dubz have been in their attitudes and actions toward us. Where once they would at least say hello [we are non attenders/not df of da] they have been more wierd, trying to avoid us and going to pains to do it.
This paragraph may hold some explanation. We will have to wait for a week or two until they move onto some other crap before it rteturns to normal!!! -

and now we have to silence you
by A Paduan inif a jw reads jw pulications, figures out it looks like a sham, and then brings up the inconvenient truths to "the wrong people" - is that all it takes to get silenced - ousted - removed - ceased etc ?

A question to ex elders or anyone about the remnant
by cultswatter inwhen a remnant dies, is the death reported to the wts ?
such as name, date of death etc is there a special form that the elders have to fill out when this happens?.
also when just a regular jdub (non-remnant) dies is their death reported to the wts?.

The c/o notes partakers, not by name, only by number. They are also counted each year at the memorial. Number only, no names. When one dies, the only thing that is picked up is the count next time. No special report to my knowlege. As far as when regular dubz die, no reports are made. Only publisher numbers. The cong keeps a card on stats and it may get noted there when someone dies....that is all.

Hi, I wish you all the best if you can get the "discussion" this far. There are some great points raised here by the other posters.
We only wish that friends/family would give us half an opportunity to use some of this stuff.
If you get the chance, watch for the looking up at the ceiling and while you are speaking, they will all of a sudden spot some fly dirt on the light or something and then tune out, then as soon as you draw a breath, they will change the subject to fly dirt......
Watch for the far away stare, then ask questions to keep them invovled.....
