When a remnant dies, is the death reported to the WTS ? Such as name, date of death etc Is there a special form that the elders have to fill out when this happens?

Also when just a regular Jdub (non-remnant) dies is their death reported to the WTS?

The c/o notes partakers, not by name, only by number. They are also counted each year at the memorial. Number only, no names. When one dies, the only thing that is picked up is the count next time. No special report to my knowlege. As far as when regular dubz die, no reports are made. Only publisher numbers. The cong keeps a card on stats and it may get noted there when someone dies....that is all.

Truly amazing . The most important group of people in the world and the society does not even care when they die! How pathetic. Yet when a member of bethel dies everyone hears about it!

The only time they announce the death of an anointed is when a GB member dies. Or when it's mentioned in the Watchtower life story and the person happens to be one of the anointed and dies when the article is being written. justahuman - but super nonetheless

Why would the Watchtower Society make a note of one of the 'anointed' dying unless he is a member of the Governing Body.

The cult has relegated all but a handful of their mystical 'Faithful Discreet Slave' to the same status that Abner relegated Rizpah the concubine as he was attempting to usurp David's throne. He used her as a pawn just as the Governing Body uses the false FDS doctrine to maintain their control over 6 million deluded and suspected mentally defective followers of men. 2 Samuel 3rd chapter

I think the Publisher records card makes a note of who claims to be anointed, but not sure.

The reality is that the F&D Slave quite simply only includes the GB. It is not the doctrine, most definitely the practice. Anointed have no more say in creating doctrine or writing articles than the Great Crowd of Mindless Sheep.

One point to the people interested in studying the Jehovah's Witness / Bible Student movement is that it's important to know which Jehovah's Witness group I am studying. There's a different one at least every 10 years.

A Jehovah's Witness / Bible Student study has to be relevant, and to be relevant the study has to be contextual, and to be contextual, the study needs to be time sensitive contextual. That's why it's not effective to expose a current Witness with information from the Russell or Rutherford era. It's not relevant, it's not contextual with now.

The Witness history is like a big snowball and it keeps getting bigger, but if facts aren't visible on the outside of the snowball, they're not relevant to a Witness.

The Witness history is like grandma's attic, they have access and rights to it, but we don't. Witness history is a history of convenience. They use what they like, deny what they like, and change what they like. They can do that because they have the power to shun anybody who has a problem with their behaviors.

The remnant topic is a great example of a time relevancy sensitive teaching. That's one that's been undergoing tweaking the last few years. Now they're establishing the credibility of the second tier, the fluid class that will never die off or be tied to 1935 or any date. The given ones, or the little priest class will be the leaders and receive the directions from the ghosts who direct the publishing company's business deals from beyond the grave.

Yes, the publisher's card does have a place to note if someone is of the anointed or other sheep (O/S).
