A Salute to the Kids of Dubdom
by Room 215 inas the unfortunate school-age children of jws worldwide, or at least in christendom, face up to two of what must certainly be the most dreaded days of the school year -- today and monday, i don't think it would be remiss to do pay them tribute -- the honor of a brief recognition of some sort, say by the raising of a glass, a prayer, a couple moments' reflection, whatever.. i refer to all those of the trembling knees, quivering lips, moistened eyes and hollow feelings in the pits of their little tummies as they loyally face up to the humiliation of standing aside from the masses of christmas celebrants among their school friends.
how they must agonize over dealing with the incessant questions of their mates about ``what are you going to do this christmas," ``what did santa bring you?
'' -- not to mention listening to the spirited banter of their school friends recounting how much fun they had and what they found under tree christmas morning, etc.

Justice #20 - Getting Run Over
by Amazing injustice #20 getting run over.
jesus said, "woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites!
for you tithe mint and anise and cummin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law, justice, and mercy, and faith: but these you ought to have done, and not to have left the other undone.

JUSTICE #16 - Part 1 - Molesters Under Every Rock!
by Amazing injustice #16, molesters under every rock part 1 of 2 .
i chose this title not just because of the shear numbers of molesters that potentially exist within the organizations and congregations of jehovahs witnesses, but the insidious impact they continue to have, when you least expect or realize what is happening.
this is about a situation that directly affected my own family.

Supplement to Justice #15 - Parking Lot
by Amazing inhellow everyone: there were a number of responses to justice #15 about the parking lot dfing.
i decided to make a new post to deal with these related but different issues.. first, the purpose of the post was not so much about rushing to judgment, but to show that the process is flawed, and the reflective question at the end shows that i was disturbed as to why we allowed these events to develop the way we do, especially over matters that really are not all that serious.. second, your follow-up comments also bring out some good additional concerns.
i will address those that seem to be of greatest concern.

JUSTICE #13 - Praying to the Devil!
by Amazing ina little history: prior to 1971, the jw congregation government was organized around the congregation servant (cs).
he was considered the sole elder, having attained spiritual maturity, and qualified to serve.
our cs was considered a highly respected elder in the region.

JUSTICE #8 - No Law? Invent One!
by Amazing inif there is not a clear law - invent one!
i personally knew a sister who was very difficult to deal with.
she had many emotional hang-ups, which i believe were left over from her failed marriage to an abusive and alcoholic husband.

JUSTICE #6 - Stumbling the Least of These
by Amazing inwoe to those who stumble the least of these .
"let he who is without sin cast the first stone" .
[note: this is a sickening story, and goes to the heart of why many youth among jws end up leaving their religion.
