    I was in the eighth grade and in music class, we were practicing for thanksgiving program.. We had to sing "Now thank we all our God" I was old enough to realize it was probably not a good thing to do but I couldn't see one word that I didn't believe so practiced and sang in the program.

    None of my family was in the audience, I don't think any fellow witness students attended. They were probably in the library. I think my appostate ways started early.

    Thanks for resurrecting this thread. Some threads are timeless.

    This brings back many memories of when I was in school.

    I do think JW kids have it easier in the( U S at least )now.

    schools and teachers are more sensitive to religious differences and try to keep things more secular. Now they are going on "winter"breaks and have winter parties or end of year parties.
