I was 14 once upon a time.
Would consensual sex with a 23-year-old good-looking schoolmarm have had an adverse affect on me? In my opinion, no. The age difference would not have had the least impact on my emotion or mentality. One this is for certain. Had I had this experience then my mind would not have had to keep running in overdrive trying to wonder what it would be like, which it did! From that perspective it might have helped me get better grades on the academic side of things!
My father remembers an incident when this situation was reversed. His school had a few "older children" whose agricultural heritage had held them back more than a few years. One "boy" was 21 years old and in what was considered then as the 8th grade (in a 10-grade system). The teacher was a 15-year-old graduate of the same school. She took over after the unexpected death of one of the regular teachers (the school had 3 teachers). The 21-year-old student had sex with the 15-year-old teacher. The teacher was fired from her teaching job. The "boy" went on to graduate a year later and married his 13-year-old second cousin.
Nothing in this post is to indicate I have sympathy for the subject teacher of this thread.
Sexual molestation of a child is bad and deserves punishment.
