By the way - denying it may not work since you came on and posted this after they told you the know it's you.

Kinda hard to now say oh - yea i guess the guy who really is pale.emperor must have gotten caught - what a coincidence.

let's make some accounts and impersonate the JC or others in the congo. Then accuse everyone, fly in a couple of CO's and detonate a whole congregation

    No, let's not.

Tell the elders that you found out the person had been using your computer to browse porn and they have come up with these lies to try and shut you up / protect themselves.

In the United Kingdom the Computer Misuse Act 1990 states that a person is guilty of an offence if

    1. he causes a computer to perform any function with intent to secure access to any program or data held in any computer
    2. the access he intends to secure is unauthorised; and
    3. he knows at the time when he causes the computer to perform the function that that is the case.

In the United States the Computer Fraud and Misuse Act 1986 [18 USC 1030(a)(2)(c)] states that whoever intentionally accesses a computer without authorization or exceeds authorized access, and thereby obtains information from any protected computer commits an offence. In this context a "protected computer" is one which has access to the internet.

Sounds to me like the Privacy Invader SIL put that stuff on your computer and then claimed she "found" it!

This just proves that there are probably MANY active Witnesses that are busy reading this and other ex-JW forums!

The question is: have they learned anything AT ALL about what's wrong with the Jehovah's Witness religion - and not just the fact that they can recognize another member on here???

If any JW asked ME if I was a certain poster on here, I would ask them what they were doing on an ex-Witness site and if THEY learned anything!

It wouldn't matter to me at this point what Witnesses think!

Sorry about your troubles, Pale.Emperor, but, I would never meet with them or give them the time of day.

    Pale E,

They dont have what they need for a judicial committee unless you want it.

She is only ONE witness to the alleged offense. They have to have two.

It's a shame you just outed yourself confirming on here who you are ,someone astute enough to pick up from here your identity has probably read your confirmation .

Oh well change your identity again and start all over and then just deny - no 2 witnesses .

How will this affect your relationship with your wife? How your daughter fares will be depend a lot on what happens between you and your wife.

If she took pics of it on his computer that would probably be sufficient. That two witness rule gets pretty dodgy if conclusive proof is presented. Besides, he pretty much copped to it already. It's done. I'm sorry PE but just know that after the initial drama life gets better than you ever dreamed. I hate that there will be collateral damage with the child and your marriage, and you have my deepest sympathy. I'm truly sorry but remember that this is but one moment in time, a snapshot of your life which is actually a filmstrip in length. It's a bad scene, but it can get better as the movie plays.

Reading this tread as made me realize that most of you are in my congregation, I have also taken pictures as proof, and at the next meeting I'm going to tell the Elders that you are all on this site. I don't want any of you to suffer spiritual ship wreck.

Now what would happen to me if I were to do this?
