1:41:45 Grabbing your Bro Friends crotch when he sits on your lap is Pornea. Because that happens all the time????

When it comes to things of a sexual nature, its going to be personal and somewhat invasive and uncomfortable because sex and sexuality is deeply personal, and some people will get offended and be put off, but the organization can’t worry about that.

But keep in mind the target audience. This video is not for all jws — it is for those living at Bethel. So they withhold the right to determine what is tolerated/not tolerated there. So in all candor, there is no “freedom of speech”, sexual freedom, etc, at bethel.

    They set the standard.

I am happy I saw the video (I actually skipped the parts where he talked because I wanted to understand the points in context without his usual spin and twisting)

Lmao at the guy here defending this. Which congregation do you go to? Are you and John Davis friends? Wait a minute, has anyone ever seen Bobby and Fisherman in the same thread?

Oh yeah, it makes total sense now that you've explained it so eloquently. Their house, their rules over literally every moment of your life. What could possibly be culty about that?

You have “rules” in your house, don’t you, that are surely more strict than some others. That makes you “culty”? Of course not.

So while no one is actually being controlled at bethel, certain things are definitely disallowed. This is really par the course for virtually every organization on the planet.

Ah bobby2446, it seems that you just want to defend the grossly inappropriate man-made rules of the cult.?

This says more about you than the cult sadly.

Just admit it: This overly controlling aspect of the cult is wrong. Why defend it?

I've listened to half of it so far. It's complete madness.

They make the claim that men are more affected by 'desire of the eyes' than women.

21.0 Flirting is discussed. A female can't tell a male that his hair or dress looks good along with enquiring as to his safety unless she is intending to marry him.

54.0 Makes some outrageous claims about tight clothing and that it looks homosexual because it makes the male look more feminine. It sexually arouses both men and women.

1.04 Is the pillow talk. A person may be guilty of masturbation by going to sleep with a pillow or blanket between their legs if it leads to a wet dream, you need to be honest with yourself when doing this if your intention is for this to happen. It's okay to have erotic dreams that lead to orgasim but you've got to examine whether you have thought of anything that has led to that, which would be wrong.

Wearing tight underwear and walking around in it, to the point of ejaculation is also masturbating yourself.

So far, not one scripture to support the claim that it is biblically wrong, that would be because there isn't one.

You're so full of it. The brainwashing is strong with this one. Even healthy parenting doesn't involve controlling evety aspect of a child's life. Try as you may, but I showed just the trailer to people never affiliated with your cult and they were floored. You just can't see it because you're unable to think for yourself. It's very sad. I hope someday you don't have a cult dictating everything you think and feel and do. Fly and be free Bobby!

Yeah sure, they tell you what to do, when to do it, how to feel about doing it, what not to do, how to interact with others, all down to the minutia of your sexual behaviors even with yourself, but you're right Bobby, they aren't controlling. Everyone else is wrong but you. Wait a minute, that's exactly how a brainwashed cult victim would feel. Uh oh, is it possible that Bobby is in a cult?

    Stuck -

How are they “controlled”? The mere existence of rules does not mean you are controlled — we have laws in this country and those laws are enforced, but you would surely agree the government doesn’t control you — so there must be some mechanism in place that you can point to.

So I would like you to explain how are bethelites controlled.

Dubstepped, don’t attack me - attack my argument.

And for the record, people can tell you what to do and not be controlling you or necessarily be a controlling person. What constitutes involuntary control, the type of control implied, is a means or mechanism of involuntary control.

Its this point that no one has ever been to answer or demonstrate in reality and show how it exists.
