They all influenced me, and provided discipline to some extent. There were no absent or unknown fathers, unwed mothers as a rule.   The most dangerous areas in each state of the United States are usually black communities. Poverty plays a role but it does not explain it. There are plenty of poor people in the US that not criminals.

  @coalize: Quetzal is incidentally quoting victimization rates but misreading the statistics. He reads the statistics as the case that blacks are slightly less victimized than whites, hence there are less criminals in the black community. What he is ignoring is that blacks only make up 12-14% of the population. This is a typical left-wing fantasy that everything in the world is and has to be 50% for blacks and 50% for everyone else.

  As the report itself reads: While blacks accounted for 13% of the U.S. population in 2005, they were victims in 15% of all nonfatal violent crimes and nearly half of all homicides.

  He's also misquoting me deliberately on various points to make his point.

  Institutional racism (race-based characteristics explicitly on the books to make decisions) no longer exists, Dems continued the welfare policies but rebranded them this time as a good thing for blacks, totally ignoring their backgrounds. That doesn't mean the welfare policies or the systems are currently racist or that Dems are racist for pursuing them, because the wording and activities surrounding them that applies to blacks has been removed. But the unintended consequences of welfare remain the same, not because welfare today is racist but because welfare in and of itself is still immoral. Their intentions have morphed and now the intent of the Dems continued reliance on the welfare state is to buy votes instead of a platform, like Biden said, if you don't vote for him, you ain't black.

  There are also many smaller towns where blacks have a large population and the crime is horrible. We have one down state where I live that its said no whites move in and is listed at the most dangerous crime ridden city in the state. These are just facts. Lets get one thing straight its not the color of someones skin but the rotten nature of their culture. Black culture is rotten to the core in areas where there are large populations. Glorifying beating women and misogyny and gang life and drugs and crime in general. Until the left quits babying and glad handing this it will grow. You can not talk nice and take a knee to get rid of cancer. You have to cut it out.

  If you look the datas on two axis (ethnicity and social background), it's clear that criminal rate by ethnicity in a given socio-economic background don't depends on ethnicity

  We can see easily too, than if blacks are 13% of the population but are involved in 50% of crime, it's because these 13% of blacks represent in the same time 50% of the poors.

  Then, they don't commit crimes because of their ethnicity, but because of their social background!

  And in a country, where 13% of black people represent 50% of the poorest, it's exactly what is called a "systemic racism" (Nothing to see with laws or right)

  And it's just a report, not a judgement, because as a french, we can't teach lessons on that subject, it's almost the same here!

Well its not the criminals fault mama sat them backwards on the toilet seat. I came from a very poor family. We lived in a very 99.9 percent white area. We had no crime to speak of. No riots no burning looting ect. To this day its a very calm peaceful area and still poor. Your BS does not pass the smell test.
