One more thing I can say in favor of FOX is that they did not hesitate to support liberal Juan Williams when NPR fired him because he was not liberal-PC enough.

I read a wide range of news articles: DRUDGEreport THEBLAZE Huffingtonpost. If you read the same story in all three you quickly figure out who's blowing smoke up your butt.

If the story is big enough, or interests me enough, I'll go to different news outlets to get different perspectives. Even foreign press. How do the Brits report differently what Fox or MSNBC reported?

Even though it's a train wreck sometimes, I still like to see opposite sides go at each other. When Bill Maher goes on Bill O'Reilly or when O'Reilly and Jon Stewart go at it. O'Reilly is a douchebag and there are times I cannot stomach him, but he isn't always wrong or off base. Sometimes he has a point. And sometimes, as much as I like to watch his show, Bill Maher is wrong, or can be off-base.

Sometimes we allow personalties and our own prejudices to keep us from being informed from a different viewpoint that we might need to be able to have a well-informed opinion.

I watch Fox and yes you have put up some dumb looking pics, but I bet if you wanted you could find just as stupid looking pics for all the other cable news shows, and the other channels. So what? I like Fox and don't care what anyone thinks, just thought it might be fair to see stupid pics of other folks.

Why be afraid to listen to people talk? I watch CNN, msnbc( not too much, gees they are awful) and other news. I like to hear it all, includingthose blow hards at Huffington post.

So, you have to ask yourself a question, "Why does Fox completely annhilate all the other cable news outlets put together by crushing them in the ratings?"

Shows like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and that Larry the redneck telling fart jokes also get high ratings.

"No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

I'd say a lot of people don't like real news - they prefer to have it pre-digested for them. They watch FOX and think they are well-informed. I can think of no other explanation for the travesty that is FOX News.

I listen to Limbaugh and Hannity when I'm in the car (sometimes) so that I am aware of the latest spin. They are truly awful.

Had something funny was going to say using a play on words. Ah well, that's what happens when one becomes travitized. Watch Fox News "The Five at Five". Wont change your stance, but do think you'll enjoy the show. Bob Beckle is great as the loyal opposition.

    The LEFT shills for Obama.

Ahh and here is the proof of the puddin'. The most ardent, factual, and meaningful criticisms of Obama come from the left. The right is too busy yelling "Socialism" and "show us the birth certificate".

You folks on the right might as well just face the fact that you've left the JW's, but never actually managed to think for yourselves. You simply traded for another high control group.

Don't forget the Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.

Have you ever noticed how The History Channel, The Biography Channel, The Military Channel, and even the Weather Channel seem to sometimes color the facts with a certain pov? Notice it sometime. Pay attention to the way certain clusters of programming seem to be trying to do a subtle indoctrination. I picked up on this not long ago while watching something on the History Channel. It seemed to pop out at me. I googled ownership of TV programming and guess what? General Electric (you know, Obama's buddy) owns them all....and then some.

LOL, seriously?? The Weather Channel??? Perfect example of my above mentioned high control. Who told you to suspect the Weather Channel? Glenn Beck?

I think the last real news reporter was Walter Cronkite. Seriously.

I am always disturbed by group think. I am disappointed in MSNBC, because while I tend to trust their news a tiny bit more then Fox, they still sold out for the left, in response to Fox's selling out to the right. In both cases, the reason was advertising dollars.

CNN smartly claimed the middle. I'm a bit cynical about that too.

Here's a simple idea guys: Don't look for the slant to the news that you agree with. Appraise each story as it is.

I watch Fox News, am a big fan of Morning Joe, and prefer MSNBC's analysis because in my view, they do have more views to share. I think Fox News goes out of it's way to portray only one view of everything. That isn't news. That's a game show.
