I had a beautiful e-mail from Shell. I am begging all on here to send good vibes, prayers, good thoughts Shells way. I love her already....
WHAT if we're wrong?
My heart aches for you because like the other posters here, I have been in your shoes. And yes, it does get better with time.
Being a part of this forum has helped me so much. Before I found it, I felt so very alone. And now, when I am feeling those feelings (and I still do from time to time) I get on this forum and start to read....
I am not DF'd but my sister treats me like the I don't exist. That's okay though. I wouldn't trade places with her and her "theocratic" family for anything in the world!! Freedom is so sweet! Grasp it and hang on. You have many friends here.
shell....you are smelly shelly.....but you haven't got it wrong............if I thought I was talking out against God's REAL organisation....I would be putting on the sackcloth as I type..........but they are the masters of deception....just like their father
and legalchickie....that is a nasty rumour....just for the record....I have never been in smelly shelly's shoes.......cheers....da ninja
you have been warned. Smelly... okay.
Blackbelt mother of four here!
Shell, shell, shell, shell, shell.
oops. Sorry, Shell. I think I called you that on the last page.
Just wanted to say that both Dawn and I's thoughts are with you - and whilst we are not fluff bunny pagans there is a Celtic blessing that comes to mind and I thought I would share it.
Beannacht (Blessing) - John O Donohue
On the day when the weight deadens on your shoulder And you stumble,
May the clay dance to balance you.
And when your eyes freeze behind the grey window
And the ghost of loss gets into you,
May a flock of colours, indigo, red, green and azure blue
Come to awaken in you a meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays in the curach of your thought
And a stain of ocean blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight to bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of the light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow wind work these words of love around you,
An invisible cloak to mind your life.
Gary & Dawn
That was beautiful Gary.
Shell i hope today is a better day for you.
