I feel very offended and distrurbed when I see people covered with Tatoos. Some people have Tatoos all over their bodies, even on their faces. There are also Tatoo programs on the TLC channel that children can watch without a forewarning before the show comes on. Even on ebay, and on the internet some people advertise with Tatoos to sell or promote their product or services. I feel outraged. What also offends me is that many underage children are able o get Tatoos. How in the world did this Tatoo craze and body piercing too get so popular. Why dio people do this thing?

Well I am offended when people judge me and my boyfriend for having tattoos. I think they are beautiful forms of art and that everyone should be able to decorate their body however they feel, whether it's a full body tattoo, a nose piercing, or just wearing makeup.

Tattoos have been around since the beginning of man. It's nothing new. And that show on TLC? Miami Ink....I would let my kids watch that anyday over some of the crap that's floating around the airwaves. It's people getting tattoos...not strippers humping a pole or gangsters doing a drive by....sheeeesh!!! If you don't like it, then look the other way.

If you're going to a REPUTABLE and RESPONSIBLE tattoo artists, you HAVE to have PARENTAL CONSENT to tattoo a minor. That doesn't mean you bring a note from mom or dad...They have to be PRESENT and fill out paperwork.

fisherman, why are you offended by someone else having a tatoo? It truly offends you? I can see if they have some sort of racist remark or something on that order. I have seen some people that I can't understand why they would tatoo their face, head, neck and shoulders and have a bone through their nose but I can't say I was offended. I just thought they were a bit nuts.

I have two tattoos. Neither is visible when I'm clothed, but I have no problem with them in general. In Michigan it is illegal to tattoo a minor without parental consent.

As for folks covered in tattoos, it isn't my thing, but heck, live and let live. Why would that offend you?

People can do what they want, but I think tatoos are the grossest thing... they look so NASTY, I don't care what the design or color, it's all downright NASTY Looking. The sad thing is the day the tatoo-ee wakes up and wishes they didn't have that grunge-looking crap all over their arms or back or chest or leg or face, etc.

As for your questions: "How in the world did this Tatoo craze and body piercing too get so popular. Why do people do this thing?" the below articles may shed some light -- not regarding EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has ever gotten a tatoo, like drunken sailors, etc. -- but it may help explain the current "craze" with many of the youth:

And for some samples/examples of these current 'marks" being used to brainwash people, continue here:

    -------------

Just as every 'social movement" over the past 50+ years has been the result of purposeful infiltration and manipulation of society by the occult Secret Societies, it would be my "educated guess" that the tatoo-craze was fomented by the very same groups to prepare the masses to accept the eventual mark of the beast, which they will by then be so accustomed to seeing everywhere and on everything already -- including their own bodies via tatoos -- that they will think nothing of accepting the "real" Mark when the time comes. I'm sure that is the reason behind the current craze. Check out those indepth articles mentioned above and you'll see this subject in a whole "new light" -- lol, to borrow a WT-favorite-phrase.

Ya know..... The only thing that get's to me about tattoos?... The Price! it costs, and the time it takes to heal.... Other wise, i would definatly have full sleeves and a coverd back....

I got my fist tattoo when I was underage.... But then again, I did it myself with a sewing needle and a jar of "ink of inda".... but as soon as i bacame of legal age, I had it professionally outlined and had it colored in....

I Find tattoos very interesting..... I love having people tell me what they mean to themselves... as for mine, it takes me back to when i was 16, when i look at it... the time when i made my assertion to be myself, and stop trying to please eveyone else (my parents & the rest of the congregation) Oh mine is Evil in Dub standards (even if it was just on paper, and not my skin)....

And I find tattos on women, down right sexy...
