"Let's make a special effort to..........."

FHN and Juni, I understand what you're saying. Ignorant parrotting.

    "The Truth".

    For two reasons:

    1. They've barely got any;
    2. They've commandeered one of Christ's titles (John 14:6).

I was trapped in a road trip to a DC with an new elder who wanted to help me if I had a problem w/ 'self-abuse' after my separation from my wife

    Not to forget:

    "timely".

Like: the talk was timely; annoying nonsense. Very annoying.

I don't like any of them, but the one I despise the most is "the truth", since I know it isn't

Fine (as in 'fine association' or 'fine spiritual food')

Surely Not! (as in 'Would we want to stumble our brothers? Surely Not!)

Marital Due (As in SEX )

Upbuilding (As in 'How upbuilding it is to recieve our marital due from a fine marriage partner!)

"go to all the meetings" (I hear at every meeting, never read any time I pick up a Bible. God's word or man's?)

"spiritual things" (Only valid activity. Meetings, study, prayer, field service)

    "encourages" (intimidate or guilt trip)

"it's just what the Bible says" (a lame attempt at a broad generalization that will hopefully cover up the reality that other people tell me what to think about the Bible)

"spirit directed organization" (lame appeal to authority)

I always hated, "upbuilding activity.." You can't have a party you have a "get together." Ad it has to be "upbuilding."

Anyone notice in this weeks watchtower the use of the word "steward" instead of slave. Maybe they are tired of being slaves.
