  Who `d a Thought The GB would Listen to the United Nations And Stop Witnessing for Jehovah.?

  "we must obey god rather than men" act.5:29 has sure been discarded now and the gb are obeying the united nations world health organization and shutting down all of their "witnessing" operations ,very effectively i might add.. instead of boldly proclaiming the kingdom message as they used to blow there own trumpet about obeying god rather than men they are now more in fear of what the superior authorities will do to them if they don`t obey them.. this is something nobody banked on ever happening least of all the governing body of jehovah`s witnesses that the preaching work would come to a standstill .. of course they will put a spin on it ,that there protecting the health and well being of their members and the public.. but the fact remains they are not trusting in jehovah to protect their members nor are they trusting in jehovah to keep the "worldwide preaching work" going.. what do you think ?.

  Given all that the borg has to lose, vast real estate holdings, cash , and tax exempt status, you can bet your sweet ass that they are now very willing to "comply" with 'worldly' authorities. Especially here in the USA where the headquarters reside. Their biggest day of the year, Memorial, with all it's hype and "vital importance" that people attend,----------------------------------now cancelled!

  Money talks a lot louder that jehober right now!

  many include wildly inaccurate readings of the book of revelation.

  often these pandemic prophets end their predictions with sign-offs such as "if you don't have a bible, buy one!.

  what will happen after the covid-19 crisis?.

  - economy with all the stand still corporations, people without work and mass injections of support money?.

  - politics with the end of globalisation, closed borders and new geopolitic friends (italy / china russia), lack of support and working together in eu and local politics, did the current politician the right thing?.

  "2020 - The Lost Year"

  although the effects of covid 19 are only just beginning to bite in most countries, i reckon that countless millions of people worldwide will remember 2020 as the year in which they lost something - whether it be a loved one, their business, their job, their home - the list will be very long.. the draconian measures in the uk alone mean that various rights and freedoms have already been lost by a nation, albeit temporarily..

  I'm 73 and I've already lived through several "lost years" and yet here I am! We don't need a ton of shit in our lives to be happy and satisfied. Friends and family works for me. But I know those who subscribe to the motto; "He who dies with the most toys---wins!"

  logged into a zoom 'pep talk' from one of the local elders last night.

  about 9 families were connected via zoom which was pretty cool.

  However the information shared was even better. The direction is coming from the CO, who undoubtedly got it from the gb, that the memorial will not be held in groups this year but should be "observed" at each family's home. Of course , there will be video links to hear someone drone on about the death of christ and how important it was. But we were told not to be concerned about passing bread and wine since we are not part of the 144,000 anyway. lol, lol. New light!

  Imagine that. So it's just a ritual of no importance except to the 144,000. Now tell us something that we didn't know! California jw's stay home for the memorial! yippe!

  But dress respectably according to the directions from the gb! Because, I'm sure jesus and the 12 put on their best clothes for the last supper!

  There have been several seemingly "world changing event" over the past 102 years starting with the Spanish Flu. 20-50 million died, but soon life went on and things got back to 'normal'. The 2 World Wars were certainly events that altered civilization especially the holocaust, 6 million Jews died, but soon things got back to 'normal' and life went on. Those events did foster changes in the way things are done and the way lives were lived for many but I believe that a few years from now this too, Covid-19, will be part of history that scared the shit out of us but life will go on and things will return to 'normal'.

  Religions and cults thrive went things like this happen but in the end I believe that rationale and sanity will prevail!
