Abraham is not a son of God? So says the elder
by biometrics infollowing from my other thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/240360/1/nebuchadnezzars-accession-year-in-625-b-c-e. the elder made a statement that i knew was wrong, but wasn't sure where to look in the bible.. he said 'abraham was a friend of god, not a son of god' and he used this point to show that 'brothers' mentioned in matthew 25:31-46 (least of my brothers) can only mean the anointed (144,000).
and we will be judged eternally by our attitude toward the gb/watchtower.. this morning i found in luke 3:33 that abraham is listed as a 'son of god' by his lineage from adam.. the son of isaac, the son of abraham,.
the son of terah, the son of nahor,.

Who is the true Faithful Slave?
by wannabe inwho the true faithful slave really is!.
as we read through the parable of the faithful slave, uttered by jesus, it is, a serious error, to do as the governing body of the watchtower society does, conclude that there is merely only one master at issue in that parable.
but a closer look at that parable, reveals that there are two masters in question in that parable, not merely only one.

Another Major Flaw in the "NU-LITE"
by BU2B ini was just thinking and a new major flaw in the new lite sprang into my mind.
one of the ways the governing body justified its existence is saying that there was a governing body over 1st century christians based out of jerusalem.
now i know they dont have any real proof of this, in fact evidence is the opposite of this, but lets say for arguments sake there was a gb in the 1st century.

Loosing Your Religion
by ballistic inchanging your religion for another or completely loosing your religion and or your belief in god, or turning to an agnostic point of view is really quite a big change.
for not wanting to state the obvious, when you change your religion, it changes not just the concept of religion in your mind, but your entire world view, or the way you perceive things work in the universe.
how does such an enormous change happen?.

Nebuchadnezzar's accession year in 625 B.C.E
by biometrics indoes anyone have info on why the watchtower's view that nebuchadnezzar's accession year was in 625 b.c.e is incorrect.. from the cd rom:.
jerusalem came under final siege in zedekiahs 9th year (609 b.c.e.
), and the city fell in his 11th year (607 b.c.e.

Dialects of the Loaded (aka Pure) Language
by Londo111 inusually, jws will speak and act with rigid uniformity and as seen via the kingdomhallofjw videos, the uniformity is scarily similar from region to region.. .
however...what differences are there in the jw loaded language?
for instance, ive always heard or said the expression going in service, however, ive noticed in a few instances where some have said going on service.

Who Today Constitute The Evil Slave?
by wannabe inwho today constitute the evil slave class?.
anyone who has ever researched, this word, parable, knows from the dictionary definition of this word, that there is a hidden meaning within each parable, so that what one might suppose, is a correct interprtetion of a parable, might very possibly be, a wrong or faulty interpretation, due to this hidden meaning.
although the governing body, of the watchtoer society themselves will tell all of their followers that it is they who are this faithful slave, responsible for supplying the spiritual food at the proiper time, but by their very claim, they are not seeing this hidden meaning; for they quite definitely are not the faithful slave of the parable in matthew 24:45. we notice that this slave in question is appointed over all his masters belongings.

I've been challenged by a JW apologist and need some answers please.
by I_love_Jeff inthe apologists states: "give at least one example in the bible where the word prototokos (firstborn) does not carry the meaning of "a beginning of existence.
or present any occurrence of the genitive phrase "firstborn of ..." which does not include the subject as part of the group.".
hi aggressive questions present the logical fallacy of false dilemma.
