Dreams
by Elders_Kid init's been a while since i have posted here, but i still try to read a thread or two when i have time.. question: does anybody have dreams/nightmares about being a dub?
over the course of the past couple of months, i have had some really realistic dreams about my younger days as a dub.
usually they involve me in a heated argument with my parents about going door-to-door.

The world's oldest song (1400 BC)!! midis!!
by Leolaia inthese are midis of songs from musical notation recorded in ancient texts.
it's nothing like what you can download and stuff your hard drive with, but it's interesting to hear what might have been performed thousands of years ago.
i like the first song a lot and the athenaios one is pretty creepy.

Fun JW Tricks
by professor inin the late 1970's john denver at one point in his concerts would ask any jehovah's witness in the crowd to please stand up.
once they were standing he would play the national anthem!
hillarious.. here's a trick you can try.

The generation that by no means would pass away until all things occurred
by professor inwow!
i longed for the day when the last of the anointed remnant was on his/her death bed and all of the witnesses awaited to be swept away into the new system.. who knew that they could just, with one stroke of "new light" change everything and do away with this hope/doctrine.
how many times did i preach it from door to door and misrepresent god and the bible!

Did you take down notes at the meetings?
by JH inwere you the type to always jot down every little detail the brothers said from the podium?.
i found it amusing when especially sisters were always writting notes in their pads when the brother was giving a talk in the front.. i wonder if it was because they found the topic interesting, or because they wanted to look as if they were learning something.. i was all ears, but never took down notes.
that's odd, coming from a person who is "visual".

Imagine If The Watchtower Apologzed For Their Sins
by minimus inone thing that is commonly brought up is how the society has made so many mistakes and uttered so many false prophecies.
i just wonder what would happen if the watchtower ever came out and asked forgiveness for their sins and asked to start a clean slate.
(you know, like the pope did a couple of years ago).
