The most painful experience?

i've lost people i love in death (thankfully not a child though).

WT almost killed me today...kinda really
by oompa inso it is an incredible weather week here...hot but not much humidity..odd.
so i am riding the heck out of my bike this week...and i kinda stole my wifes ipod...she never uses it and i have learned that i really, really love listening to music while riding....and i have loaded a ton of good road tunes on it.
it is on shuffle, so i go from lynard skinnard, and just finish johnny cash..folsum prison blues (love it)..........and then it happened....on comes a monotone voice chapter 27...a bad king rules egypt.....wtf!!!

What do you mean no more book studies ?

i went to my usual place for the study tonight and no one is there....... why did they cancel it, this was my night out to get away from the family and kids , after the meeting i usually headed over to moe's to get spiritualized with a few beers.. great.... now i've gotta come up with a another excuse for marge so i can go out tuesday nights.. do jws go out in the door to door work in the evenings ?.

Confusion about Bible reading
by faundy inthe society seems to make a huge thing about reading the bible daily, and yet they have a problem when people do so without the 'aids' - i.e the publications.
so is bible reading on its own frowned upon?
i never did it anyway, it was boring.

Inappropriate "shepherding" calls.
by avishai inhow many have recieved calls by the elders that were under the guise of "shepherding", but somehow inappropriate, i.e, you were a woman alone with only one elder showing up, or you felt physically intimidated by both.
or say they show up at like, 10:30 at night for a shepherding call.
and you say "hey, i appreciate the visit but please call first!
