I would find a town where she has friends/relatives and mail it from that town -- even if it is just the next one over. Just to ease the suspicion from you.

Just received the latest Free Minds Journal...thinking of sending pg.11 out
by whyizit ini've had a few light and heavy conversations (always peaceful, always "asking" rather than telling), with my jw friend.
i just received the latest free minds journal and wondered about sending "anonymously" page 11 to her.
it gives all the flip-flops of what a generation is, according to the wts.. we have touched on a variety of subjects that she just knew the wt could explain, but alas they could not!

What's with Ex-Jw's who join another religion? Fool me Twice????
by Witness 007 insorry no offense but why do some ex-witnesses here join another group....we have a muslim {muhamed was given a koran by an angel in a cave?
}....we have some baptists etc......i researched the bible and found there are 1,000's of gospels not part of the bible...so what's the deal...."fool me once shame on you..fool me twice shame on me" or do you have a reason for continued belief in religion...i really wan't to know since iam agnostic and don't believe in god or evolution????

falls on those who claim that god exists, to prove his/her/its existence. The burden of proof does not fall on those who don't believe in god, to prove that god doesn't exist.
So if you found a perfectly manicured garden and couldn't find a gardener, you would assume one didn't exhist? I say that seeing all God has created is evidence in itsself.

Buying an easter bunny makes you feel rebellious.
You wonder what people will think when you put up an American Flag out front.

Different cultures do not scare me as long as it isn't crowded. I don't like "croweded pushiness" either.
I think Europe, Australia/New Zealand, or South Africa sounds the best.
I haven't ever been attracted to Australia -- I'd love for some of you Australians to sell me on it! My husband is dieing to go and I can't figure out what for (sorry!...I just don't know much about it other than dessert and kangaroos!) The idea of going somewhere with snow when I just left a 95 degree summer is really interesting to me! How is the weather in the winter there? I would love to see snow -- does that mean I have to go to New Zealand or do you have snow in Australia too? What time of the year would be the best to avoid crowds and see some snow? Do the animals hide in the winter? My husband would like to see nature for sure if we go there.
Europe sounds nice but I have no idea which countries. Athens, Rome, Paris, Berlin, and London all sound fun... Adding a former soviet country to the mix sounds enticing as well.

It really depends on what yall like
OK I have a short attention span -- No activities that take a long time. I went on a dolphin cruise once for 2 hours and almost died .. LOL
The husband likes nature.
I like culture -- I like to see how people live differently than I do.
Neither of us are into athletic activities -- Though walking to see things is totally fine. I would just rule out biking and skiing for example.
Edited to add: I also like seeing history as long as we see it quickly (That short attention span again)

We have about 2 weeks to be gone. What do you think?
We have considered Europe (France/Greece/Rome/London) but the exchange rate is so bad -- would it be worth it? We have thought about Australlia or China. ... We only know English and I know a very small part of French. I'm really overwhelmed by this chance of a lifetime.

My cat has diabetes

Someone ought to start a thread on what we are willing to pay to have a pet.
I may be taking your comment wrong, but if you cannot afford or do not want the aggravation of taking your pets to the vet and taking care of them, you shouldn't have a pet in the first place.
Now don't take me wrong -- I take very good care of my animals. My dog got shot about 2 years ago and I had her taken for surgery and it cost $600. I bought a cat last year (Blue Russian) for $500. I bought her an 84" cat condo, a water fountain, automatic feeder, and zillions of toys. So I am not afraid to spend money on animals. But it's because I have the money to spend.
I thing the point of "Someone ought to start a thread on what we are willing to pay to have a pet" is just that in some countries animals are just for slaugher or milk. The animal kingdom is full of animals who die of curable diseases. I think this money we spend on pets is certainly a luxury. We should be thankful we can afford the luxury of taking an animal into the home and caring for it like a baby.

I lost 35 family members and a divorce to become free. It was worth it. I am so calm and at peace. I would have to be true to who I am no matter what. Especially if you have children. You can't let them be brainwashed and risk loosing them in the future.
