My wife burst into the computer room and found me {gasp} talking with Apostates on this site! Now she doesn't go Witnessing anymore and only very rarely goes to a meeting...but talking to Apostates is not on! I quickly closed down but had to log-off later so she doesn't find out that Iam "Witness 007." Some personal stuff is on here and she is very private..........she's probably at home right now searching the Net History!
Wife caught me on this site - have to remember to Logoff Witness 007!

Yes, my wife avoids being inquisitive in front of me because she "knows" I am online,
but doesn't quite know what exactly I am reading/looking at. I do most of my JWD on
the laptop wireless. I always keep another window up in case I need to shut down JWD.
Usually, I don't go on here when the wife is home, but sometimes. I always clean up
my history after coming on. Even if I am home alone and plan to log on again, I clean
up the history before I walk away in case I forget to do it later.If my mother ever quit the JW's or passed away, I plan to be open about what I do.
Really, the wife knows anyway. She might be curious as to what I have written and want
to do a search of my posts. That would only help her. -

Oh no..you're in trouble! Lets hope her search might end up useful. You will have to explain why it is good to be here. I hope she doesnt overreact and becomes overly suspicious. Maybe she'll find some material which is eye-opening...

My elder Dad caught me on this site once. At a glance, he didn't know what to make of it. Cos the site's called "Jehovah's Witness Discussion Board" not "Ex-JW discussion board".
Bet he tried re-tracing my steps on the PC when I wasn't home. Too bad I scrapped the history.

I would give the access a password, so she wouldn't be able to log on to your information.
Personally, I think if you are married, you should just be up front. It's better that way, IMO.
