  Donation to "Locks of Love"

  my daughter lilyan qualified the minimum 10 inches required.

  i took pictures of her donating her hair.

  at first she was a little apprehensive, and terrified of getting her hair cut.

  Please tell Lily what a wonderful sacrifice she made. I've seen the difference that these donations make to sick kids when I worked in oncology. It makes them feel as close to normal as possible. I've seen a little girl cry because "I feel SO pretty mom". Her parents cried so much. This is a gift that no parent, doctor, or nurse can give. It can make the difference in how a student performs at school, and in every part of their life!!

  Please give Lily a big hug and kiss. What she did will affect someone for many years.

  Not just no, but HELL NO!!!! I ditto what college girl and brigid said. But I do like the idea of a beer bar, instead of the literature counter. They would do well to put up a big screen for nascar and dallas cowboys games, then I might walk in there. But of course the roof would fall in, and the ground would swallow me up!

  I have no doubt what-so-ever they are as far from right as anyone can get.

  Are they right to cause thousands of useless deaths because of the blood issue?

  Are they right to protect child molesters?

  Are they right to not help these kids, instead of making them feel they are responsible? Thereby screwing the kids' lives up forever?

  in my latest post in my story, i recounted how my dad and another elder made attendance at high school sports events a no-no.

  in retrospect, i don't recall anything in print that made attendance at local sporting events a shepherding offense.

  maybe my memory is faulty.. did your boe make rules like this?.

  The elders in our congregation not only forbid anyone from participating or going, they rearranged the meetings to be on Tues. and Fridays nights. That's when the sports games were played.

  When I ran away from home my senior year I made cheerleader. Then went to college on a cheerleading scholarship. That REALLY pissed off my JW parents!

  Don't forget how "late the hour is...", over 25 years later. Did someone's calendar get stuck in the '70's?? Why am I asking that stupid question, we all know the answer to that!!

  Reading that gave me flashbacks! Oh, and don't forget to tip the housekeeping EVERYDAY! You know they probably deduct all those tips, not to mention meals, lodging, etc. from their taxes!!

  Go figure why I went to college, when I could have waited on the good ole WTB!! I wonder if that'll be breaking news here in the US, too??Maybe they are going to take man to Mars next!!

  Since they are working so hard, maybe next they will figure out how to shut up the apostates or keep the rank and file off the internet. Evidently their warnings aren't working!

  what were some of the worst experiences you had with ex spouses or ex boyfriends/girlfriends?

  one of my ex girlfriends just left me suddenly without ever saying anything in advance and i never saw her again for a long time and that happened by coincidence.

  her disappearence was totally unexpected.

  jgnat- Hats off to you girl! I don't think I could have gone thru all that without actually killing the SOB!

  I know my ex thinks of me as pyscho. He got caught screwing around on video tape. I put a foley catheter in him when he was passed out ( no bag on it and I went to work), every piece of glass on his truck got smashed, the gas tank was full of water (guess it rained alot ...), and the C.D.'s in his 200 disc player got stuck (super-glue) and couldn't play!!
