Is anyone going to Glastonbury?

decided on the spur of the moment to try and get some glastonbury tickets yesterday,as there were still 55, 000 left due to the system cock ups... had friends who stayed up til 5am trying on the friday night but none of us had any luck, mind you, with two teenagers and a child it's the equivilent of a small mortgage...did anyone here have any joy?

i've just had a phone call this morning to say i had sunday tickets , the ones you can get if you live in somerset...ive got a phone number if anyone want to try it... so; if anyone wants to meet up to have a shamanistic dance or two, share moment in the tipi field or help me negociate the toilet block..... i'll be around...

if i feel stressed or low i always head for the beach.i've got a very special beach near me thats empty.

there seem to have been a lot of threads lately on the subject of parental abuse and quite a few of us are still finding this really hard to cope with.

i've been reading them and not getting uset as i would have done a while ago and was wondering why.i think i've finally worked it out and was just wondering if what i did could help you in the way it helped me.

i had a physically and emotionally abusive home life until i left home at eighteen.i spend years alternatively trying to come to terms with it and blocking it all out.

i've been feeling really low lately and desperately needed a break... in steps my brilliant mate and gave me the best day out i've had in ages.

we went to covent garden for lunch, walked along the thames to the tate modern, crossed the millenium bridge heading for the tate modern.

we went to see the weather project which was a huge installation re-creating the weather inside with jets of mist that created a hazy effect.

i'm off to see the best band in a long time on wednesday night.i'm so excited.
