Well we all know that the elders are the be all and end all for scriptural interpretation. I could have sworn that I was told that the elders are no greater than the rest of the members of the kingdom hall. What makes them more qualified to interpret scripture anyhow? Are they not "imperfect men" like the rest?
Besides AFIN, according to your own words - elders are not allowed to discuss and/or quote "sacred scripture" to apostates or anyone associated with them - which would include RM.

OS went to an elder with questions like these several years ago, ME. I was unable to answer the questions. After 10 years in the full time work, 6 at Bethel, 29 years as an elder and 17 years as a presiding overseer, serving on special commitees and with regular circuit and district responsibilities I finally admitted to myself, just three years ago, that I could not answer these type questions because they are not supported by the scriptures.

AFIN selectively responds with scripural backing only to that which requires little or no thought - and probably only to those people or topics that don't intimidate 'her'.
