Not entirely relevant to this thread but I just saw a post on reddit which linked to an Australian law firm who seem to be going after child abuse cases in JW land in Oz.

Yeah, apart from the firms running the OP advert, I think there's a few going after JW child abuse cases now...

    Schmidt & Clark
The Sexual Abuse Litigation Group at our law firm is an experienced team of trial lawyers that focus on the representation of plaintiffs in Jehovah’s Witness sexual abuse & molestation lawsuits. We are handling individual litigation nationwide and currently accepting new cases in all 50 states.

    Estey Bomberger
ATTORNEYS FOR SURVIVORS OF CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE - Jehovah’s Witnesses Sexual Abuse Lawyers .

    AO Advocates
Jehovah's Witnesses Specialists - Over the past few years multiple cases of child abuse by Jehovah's Witnesses have been exposed in the media. We currently represent several clients who were abused by Elders and Ministerial Servants in their congregations.

    Stern Law Group
Jehovah's Witness Sexual Abuse Claims - As with other religious organizations, Jehovah's Witnesses have faced public criticism for allegations of sexual abuse within their congregations. Additionally, like many other cases of sexual abuse in religious institutions, the organization has dealt with many accusations specifically involving child sexual abuse.

    Kosnoff Law
Attorneys Fighting the Jehovah’s Witnesses for Covering up Child Sexual Abuse - Much like the Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses create a very isolated community of followers that have little contact with non-members. They insist on dealing with allegations of child sexual abuse within the organization, covering it up from public view and, effectively, allowing abusers to continue harming the vulnerable.

    Crew Janci
The lawyers at Crew Janci LLP understand the challenges faced by a victim of abuse within the Jehovah’s Witnesses. We are dedicated to helping survivors lift the veil of secrecy surrounding child sexual abuse, whether she or he is speaking up against the local Kingdom Hall or with the Governing Body in Brooklyn. If you or someone you love has been a victim of sexual abuse within the Jehovah’s Witnesses, contact our offices today.

Oh Wow! I had no idea it was becoming so widespread. AO Advocates calling them Jehovah's Witness Specialists.

What I liked about that Australian lawyer firm was this part:

We are working with advocacy groups and leading practitioners in the UK and the United States to ensure that we are taking a collaborative approach where possible and that we share learnings across the jurisdictions.

I like the idea they are all learning from each other.

Richard Oliver, you think this will be a "tough mountain to climb"?

Looks like their are several parties of climbers making for the summit.

Perhaps you might phone all of these law firms to express your concerns to them? Such an undertaking would seem to be an increasingly uphill struggle too. Are you up to that challenge Richard?

Perhaps you might let us know how you get on?

And there's a connection between the OP and Shine yeah?... Erin Brockovich

I love this and there is nothing that anyone on this board can do to stop it no matter how many post's they use to derail it.

I just so want for the WT to change their policies and protect the children. This makes my day.
