I like Dakota and he was very hurt that anytime he stood for his values and the honor of his choice he was ridiculed by someone that had no clue.

It goes both ways ShielaM - he was quick to dish out insults when people stood by their principles and happened to disagree with him. Other people are allowed viewpoints too. It could equally be claimed that he had no clue couldn't it?
This is not about TH. If he posts something that he shouldn't then he is edited. He has been cooperative.

Sheilla, I think Simon is in a bind here. If he deletes DR without the quote, he is accused of being arbitrary. It seems to me that showing the full quote is the only way to docuement the reason for his decision. Of course, he will be criticized no matter how he handles it. I happen to like DR, his input, and I agree with his point of view regarding the war and the veterans of previous wars. Nonetheless, I think he went beyond the limits. I know that the subject is emotional for DR. We all have our hot buttons. I have said things myself in the heat of verbal battle that should have been left unsaid, and some of these things were the result of what was said about me in another place, and I did bring them here, mainly because the other place in question would not let me in to post.
