Are you asserting that every single claim on here that says the same thing is an outright lie?

Sadly, yes, poppers. This is what he has said over and over again.

This is how he has "defeated" us.

By saying we are all liars.

I guess he feels if he keeps repeating it, it is true and will be accepted by others as fact.

Yeah, that is sad, and more than a little pathetic.

    *sigh*

It truly is a shame that our apologist will not stand up for their beliefs. Personally, I wish someone would answer these questions with scripture and facts. If they did, I would be a believer and get myself baptitized (that's how my daughter says it) at the next assembly.

In light of that, here's some of the answers I got to some of these questions. It's a shame that the non-believing husband of a witness has to answer for their doctrines.

1:) You talk alot about "Apostates" and you have referred to people on this website as "Apostates." Can you explain WHAT an "Apostate" is, and HOW you are able to judge whether or not someone is an "Apostate"?

An apostate is someone who left the security of Jehovah which we know today can only be found by following the direction of Jesus and the Faithful and Discreet Slave. To follow Jesus, one must follow the His visible organization that can be found here on Earth that He is using to direct His affairs.

2:) Also, isn't it true that the Watchtower Publications forbid Jehovah's Witnesses from speaking to "Apostates" or reading their writings? If that is true, then aren't you disobeying the Governing Body by being on this website? (See the two Watchtower articles quoted at the bottom of this list)

True Christians are suppose to be mindful of their associations for bad associations spoil useful habits. While we can associate with unbelievers, we must not discuss spiritual matters with them.

3:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that today's Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses is the sole channel of communication between God and mankind?

Jehovah has always had an organization on Earth directing His affairs. In the old testament, Moses was the head of that organization that Jehovah was using, then later, the greater Moses (Jesus) was used by Jehovah through Jesus's disciples who were the first members of the annointed. Today, the remnant of the annointed class can be found in His Faithful and Discreet Slave class.

4:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that Daniel's prophecy about King Nebuchadnezzar's 7 years of insanity has a secondary meaning, and why we should believe that this secondary meaning is pointing toward Jesus becoming King in 1914? How do you get to the date 1914 C.E. using only the Bible?

The tree envisioned in Daniel's prophecy was cut and bounded when Jerusalem fell in 607 B.C.E.. We know that a time is 360 days and that times and a half are three and a half years as stated in Revelations. So seven times is 2520 days. Obviously nothing happened in the literal seven years so we must apply a day for a year to get 2520 years and add it to 607 B.C.E.. We know that since 1914 C.E., perilous times have come unlike never before fulfilling the prophecy where the new spiritual Israel has come about.

5:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that there are two separate classes of Christians, one class that will live forever on earth, and the other class that will live forever in heaven?

Jesus spoke of His disciples as the little flock who will make up the ruling class of 144,000. Jesus also said that He had other sheep who will inherit the Earth.

6:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that Jesus is the same person as Michael the Archangel?

The scripture says the Jesus will return with a shout, with the voice of an archangel. Evidently, this is Jesus's voice as He is coming to set up His millenia reign.

7:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the number 144,000 in Revelation is a literal number, while all of the other details about the 144,000 are symbolic, and most other numbers in Revelation are symbolic?

The 144,000 cannot be literal Israelites since God has proclaimed that Israel was no longer His chosen people.

8:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses were chosen as God's only people on earth in 1919? (What were they teaching in 1919 that would have made God choose them over all the other religions?)

Jesus assumed Kingdom Power in the call of 1914 C.E. and surveyed the world's religions finding the Watchtower Society providing meat in due season. Although many of its teachings has changed, we can be confident that Jehovah is providing increasing light to His slave class.

9:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the Book of Revelation was predicting certain JW Assembly Talks given in the early 20th Century?

Many of these beliefs were under old light and the Bible even gives references to some of the apostles running ahead of Jehovah. We should not be too concerned as Jehovah is providing increasing light and setting our paths straight.

10:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the "other sheep" spoken of by Jesus were not simply Gentile believers who would eventually join the Jewish believers?

The Bible speaks only of the 144,000 who will reign in Heaven and Kings and Priests while it speaks of the great crowd who will enjoy their loving provision on a paradise Earth.

11:) The Bible simply says "ABSTAIN FROM BLOOD". Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is acceptable to receive all kinds of different blood fractions? How can someone accept blood fractions and still be "abstaining from blood"?

The slave class has received increasing light from Jehovah and has determined that blood has been broken down sufficiently enough so that fractions are no longer considered blood and may be a conscious matter.

12:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is wrong to vote in a political election, but it is a good thing to pay taxes?

Jesus never voted or held political office as His kingdom was not of this world. Likewise, we as His faithful followers must also be no part of this world. Jesus also commanded use to render unto Ceaser what is Ceaser's but to Jehovah what is Jehovah's. Therefore, even though we do not vote or hold public office, we must abide by the ruling powers of this system of things as long as it does not conflict with Jehovah's laws.

13:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is wrong to join the Military (in a non-combative position), while Jesus commanded us to carry a soldier's weapons for two miles?

Jesus never intended for His faithful followers to live by the sword for to do so would also mean that we should die by the sword.

14:) Can you explain why we should believe that Christ's parable of the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" was predicting a "class" of anointed Christians who would give orders to all other Christians, instead of simply teaching that faithful Christians will be rewarded by Christ when He returns?

The scriptures say that there will be only one organization tending to Jehovah's affairs here on Earth, this organization would be headed by Jesus's Faithful and Discreet Slave.

15:) Can you explain what Jesus meant when He said "This Generation will not pass away until all these things occur?" (Matthew 24:34)

We must understand that a generation refers to contemporaries of people who are living at the same time. It is not excessively long and has an end. Evidently, Jesus meant that the annointed who were on hand to witness the events of 1914 whose lives would overlap with those annointed who would see the tribulation.

16:) Can you explain what the Apostle Thomas meant when he called Jesus "The God of me"? (John 20:28, Kingdom Interlinear Translation)

Thomas was not referring to Jesus directly but was referring to Jehovah God whose presence is evident by the risen Jesus.

17:) How many Gods do you serve, One or Two? (John 1:1 in the New World Translation says that there are TWO Gods).

Jehovah's Witnesses do not worship Jesus as the almighty God. They do recognize Him as a Might God, but not the almighty as His Father Jehovah. Jesus is a god just as Satan is a god but they do not worship Satan, even Moses was considered a god.

18:) Why do YOU personally believe that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses is God's channel of communication today?

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Slave class is the channel of communications from God today and this slave class is represented by the Governing Body.

19:) Can you explain HOW the Governing Body receives communication from God today? And how do they know when they receive something from God?

Jehovah reveals things to the slave class by way of His holy spirit. Jehovah uses His Holy Spirit to provide increasing light to the Faithful and Discreet Slave.

20:) Are you aware that the "Revelation -- Its Grand CLimax At Hand!" book teaches that Christians should PRAY to Jesus (Page 319), sing songs of praise TO Jesus (Chapter 15), and that Jesus is the ALPHA and OMEGA (Page 319)? Do Jehovah's Witnesses actually sing TO Jesus or pray TO Jesus?

The alpha and the omega is not the same when applied to Jesus. When applied to Jesus, it means that Jesus "have been" before "Abraham was" and will be on hand when the end of this wicked system of things occurs.
