Ian was one of my favorite posters, and someone I trusted implicitly.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear this awful news. I can't think of anything else to write at the moment... I'm heartbroken for you, Stephanie, and for Claire and Dominic and Karl, as well as your other sister.

I had wondered recently how Ian was, and have not posted here for a while, so am totally shocked to hear of his moving on to his next great adventure.

He will always be close to you, and part of you, and never far away. He will always be watching you and there to inspire you and always loving you all.

I found Ian a pleasure to chat with on line and am very sorry to never have met him and Claire in person.
