Oomp.......I chose the Fatboy because I wanted a simple bike that I could do a nice passenger setup on, also, I liked the solid wheels.

The reason for the change to the Ultra Classic is so that we will have more space for luggage and stuff for overnighters.....also, the UC is a bit more comfortable (because of the fairing) at interstate speeds. When your at the HD dealer check out a UC Screamin Eagle, you'll see what I mean. The main difference between the Road King and the UC is the fairing (with stereo, GPS, CB radio) and storage space.

Why doesn't Buell count? HD owns them and sells them...

...and thus shows the elitism of some HD owners...

New Light, well, I have an idea: you could grow up, get a babysitter, go get your bike licence (It's completely fun), and make your hubby the proudest guy on the block that his wife rides. Stop treating your hubby like a child who must depend on your approval for every move he makes and maybe you won't feel so treated like a child in return.

That's what I thought, too. But, what do I know. I almost bought a Yamaha.

I do NOT understand people who behave as tho they think that their spouse has to cower at their feet doing everything THEY want, lest they end up essentially threatened w divorce over going out and getting some simple enjoyment in life. That would make me want to hit the road too. Jesus, ever heard of a babysitter? Or are those only for things you wanna do? Try it out. Live a little. I dare ya.

My husband has a Heritage Softail. I love riding on the back! No noise but the engine and the wind in your ears.

We have done several charity rides. Those are pretty safe. They usually have police escort that shuts down intersections and clears lanes for you.

And a fun plus--I have tons of silly stickers on my helmet.

My husband is also friends with Hell's Angels and Outlaws. Yeah, both.

edited to add: There is something very sexy about a motorcycle riding man. Anyone seen Wild Hogs? Peter Fonda
