I am reading Traveling Mercies by Anne Lamott. I recently read Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Both authors are going to be appearing in Marin County in early 2008 and I am planning on attending.

The books are about finding faith (and/or yourself). Although I may not agree with their point of view, I find it interesting to read about it. Never felt I could do that as a JW.

    Got some cool recommendations, thanks!

Just finished "The Grand Illusion" by Chuck Panozzo (basist for Styx) and Crisis of Consciences by somebody named Franz or something...currently reading Memento Mori by lewitt (post-punk SF, it seems so far) and just starting Age of Reason, also inspired by this Board.
