Oh, Jerry and Vera James.........CO............very nice people, seemed like the perfect couple! As I understand it they later divorced. Feel bad about that, but it seemed to happen quite often. I don't think either one of them are still associated.

Paul & Peggy Moske.........CO..........Never had them in our congregation, but met them on a trip. Fun to be around if you could stand his 'ties'! Liked food.

Louis and Marylin Langoria were in the Union City Tn cong back in the 70's and early 80's as pioneers. Louie was a cop in Lorain Ohio ...he broke his back on the job about the time he became a JW in the early 60's. Went to school for a CPA degree as part of his comp -rehab after the back injury. By the time I knew them Marylyn was pretty weird. Lots of those undefinable symptoms so many JW women seen to suffer from affected her. Louis was always the head of accounting at the Tennessee area assemblies. I worked for him in accounting for years. They has a little red headed daughter named Lydia and son George, who was the head windo washer at one of the talller Brooklyn buildingds. ~Hill

From what I understand her mom was the one that painted the big-eyed kids. On Walden's Pond was a huge pain in the arse.Hey was Mendenhall the guy who was married to the older chick? If not, do you know who I am referring to?"

Walden's wife's name was Marylou Lockhart, and her mom was NOT the woman who painted the big-eyed girls (Keane is her name, I think). Walden and Marylou were good friends of that woman though, as I think she lives in Hawaii. Marylou was from Keene, NH.

    I don't think that's the Don Mendenhall I knew.

The name Dave Biegler brought back some memories, as we had him as a CO when I was a teenager.

Anybody have Ron and Kay Miller? Illinois I think?

I do know of a Nathan Miller in the southern California area. From what I heard, he just recently got married a year or two ago to his third wife. The other two had died while married to him.

He served in the south Pacific area as a branch committee member in Guam while he was younger. His picture (along with his first wife) is in the 1997 yearbook page 215. He was a missionary to Japan and also served in Hawaii.

    Re: Dave Thomas, former DO

Several times I note references to former DO Dave Thomas. The Dave I knew was a very fine man, and so was his wife. Does anyone here know Dave’s current whereabouts?

There was also a Bro patterson in NY. Nice guy, he dated one of my mothers friends for a while after his wife died but abuptly dropped her and married a much younger sister.

I also remeber a brother McGee. He was so full of himself. On Sunday my mom was too sick to go to hear his talk so me and my cousin went without her. Well we were really misbehaved during his talk. We imtiated his gestures and flipeed him off at the end of his talk.

Of course he went balistic and told our elders that we should be eaten alive by she -bears.

They told my mom and boy did we get whipped.

He never spoke to either my cousin or or me or my mom again.

just resurrecting this interesting thread. I am certain we had another thread like this one since this one posted. I just bttt for some of the newbies for their input..

did anyone ever reply about Andrew Cole?... My understanding was he was DF for fornicating with a worldly gal...and he could have had his picks in the Borg...but I heard he was reinstated and going to a congo in Missouri...St Louis or one of the surrounding counties...anyone confirm?
