Every little celebration is a good one.
My first book was written as a form of self-therapy. It is a personal experience about how Jehovah's Witnesses affected my life, how I became one and how I left them. As I was writing, I decided it could be a published book and I changed it slightly to remain anonymous. When I started to seek a publisher, my wife was highly upset about it. It wasn't worth the trouble it could have caused to promote the book.
Anyway, I let time pass and I made it available as an ebook on Amazon (and as a print-by-order paperback copy on Amazon also).
I actually should order a few paperbacks to share with my therapist and non-JW family.
Anyway, I was unable to promote it in any way as it could create trouble in my marriage and with my JW family. So the book just sat on Amazon as something people would have to stumble across.
Well, a few of you paid for it and read it. I got my very first royalty credit last month. It's tiny, but I set my share as low as Amazon would allow.
Here's the ebook, but keep it a secret between us that you "know" the author:
or the paperback:
Take a look. I am not self-promoting on JWN. If you want to read it for free, PM me and I will tell you how to do so instantly.
