this link had to do with the experience that was given by a young witness pioneer in the phillipines convention and her take was on return to jehovah .. an old time friend from the past sent me this link a couple of weeks ago trying to encourage me to come back to the religion and asked me what i thought of it ?.
i said i would if she could reply to my 2 questions first fair enough ?
so far i haven`t heard back from her and i will let you know if and when i do.. the 2 questions i asked her was to do with jehovah`s name and the christian greek scriptures ,especially the ki publication the wt brought out ,the word for word greek to english that didn`t have an equivalent greek word for jehovah .. and the other one was to do with the charge that was given to christians ,followers of jc to witness about jesus with over 20 such scriptures and not one saying anything about being a witness for jehovah anywhere in the nt.. over the years she has always still kept in touch, a little bit eccentric and we had a lot to do with her family and mine back in the day when we were all believers .. .and she is not backward in coming forward about having a go at the elders who she doesn`t agree with .. at the time i looked at the link and have posted somewhere else about it on this forum and mentioned i didn`t see anything about "returning to jehovah" in it .. anyway this was a few weeks ago and i was still waiting to hear from her..today we got mail from her ,,slow mail ,even though we have each others e-mail address .and in the envelope was only the wt "return to jehovah " and inside a $50 note.?.
The $50 was her symbolic way of giving you the '30 pieces of silver' that Judas got for betraying Jesus!
How could you leave jehober? And why would you not want to be one of jehober's witnesses even though the bible clearly says that christians should be jesus witnesses? Shame on you! Get thee behind me satan! lol lol lol

jehovah`s witnesses make a big deal about the 2 or 3 witnesses in judicial decisions yet they ignore that evidence when it suits them.. firstly :.
regarding the length of a generation matthew ch.1:17 gives a strong clue ,their are 3 lots of 14 generations mentioned which equal 42 generations from the time of abraham to jesus .. watchtower publications give abrahams birth as 2018 bc......they also give jesus birth as of 2 bc a period of 2016 years .

I'd say it depends on how deeply indoctrinated a jw that one really is! I don't know too many truly devout jw's anymore. I truly believe that the constant reminder from the borg that the end is sooooooooooooon and yet nothing has ever really changed has stunted the belief system of jw's. They repeat the bull shit and hope that the shit will happen---------but they don't really believe that it will happen!

it's been 12 years since i submitted my resignation letter, and stopped playing by their rules.. in a spurt of manic rationality, i blew up the bridge, sky high.
knowing that the diseased organ would need to be forever removed, away from anything remotely functional in my mind, body, and soul.
lest i be tempted to return.... so, i left.
Not going back after nearly 60 years in! The whole enchilada of being a jw, pioneer, elder, rbc construction overseer, assembly and convention speaker and father of 4 great kids! It's a fu*king shame that it took me so long!

i`ll list a few things and welcome any input, comments you may have .. 1.when adam & eve "sinned" disobeyed him, surely god could have handled it better than to condemn all future generations to disease and death ?.
2.his handling of satan who supposedly seduced eve to disobey god could also have been done a lot differently with a finality to it.. 3.i find little if anything in his dealings with the patriarchs that suggests a loving god protecting them.?.
4.taking on the nation of israel and leading them as his chosen people does not inspire confidence or trust as a god of love.. 5.throughout the hebrew scriptures / old testament his chosen people were constantly at war with other nations which of course would have meant many deaths of the israelite`s during these battles .and the grief that comes with family members in those times.
The absolute bullshit that the wt and other religions put out about God is Love is absurd! The silly illustrations that they use by comparing god to a loving human father are ridiculously stupid!
What loving human father would allow his children to suffer the atrocities that humans suffer if he had the ability to stop such suffering? NONE!!!

scholars generally agree that it was written between the 7th and 4th centuries bce, with the 6th century bce as the most likely period for various reasons.
the book of job .. so according to jw`s about 6,000 years ago satan rebelled against jehovah god ,did jehovah disown him there and then shunning him ?.
apparently not as we can read from the book of job centuries later that satan could still come and go freely before the throne of jehovah in heaven .job 1: 6. and apparently he could still do this for centuries later ,that is coming to and fro before jehovah because according to the jw religion he wasn`t cast out of heaven for another 2,000 years until the 20th century .. now in the case of jesus much of what is said about jehovah and satan also applies to jesus before he came to earth.. but even when he was on earth he didn`t shun satan either in fact he allowed satan to lead him around according to the bible account.luke 4:13 so the devil having concluded all the temptations retired from him until another convenient time .so it wasn`t jesus calling the shots here it was satan .. mark 1: 13 he ,jesus, also shared 40 days in the wilderness with satan letting him tempt him .. so their was no way either jehovah or jesus ever shunned satan the devil according to the bible writings.. and when jesus ascended to heaven after his sacrifice he along with his father jehovah still had association with satan the devil until he was cast out of heaven 2,000 years later ,according to the jw`s..
