  My blood boiled at WT comment read on CNN

  i was going along fine with my glass of ice tea, my cat sitting next to me as bill and the two young ladies were being interviewed.

  i even made it okay through the first section of the wt comment that, "we abhor molestation..." but when chung got to the part of their comment that said something to the effect of "we provide counseling and emotional support to victims," i nearly spilled my tea on my cat.

  i replayed this segment alot, and noticed that the reaction of bill and the two ladies to that section was that they were just as shocked as i was.

  i'm curious to know if anyone has noticed different behavior from their dub family and friends since the aug. km about disfellowshipped ones.

  i've noticed that my mother is no longer emailing me, nor is she responding to my emails.

  i really wish that she would just come out directly and state that she will no longer talk to me instead of just ignoring everything, thinking i will go away.

  Should I pay for lunch?

  there is this gay man in my church that i've asked to meet me for lunch in about a week.

  he responded through email saying that he would enjoy that and asked "what arrangements do you suggest," thus wanting time, location, etc.

  anyway, this is my thing.

  i started a thread last thursday or friday (i always sign off from everything on the weekends, so i'm just now revisiting all the comments).

  i asked if anyone knows ed vosh and you stated that you do.. i grew up with ed in the small town of luray, virginia.

  he was always the "spiritual" kid that all the other kids wanted to be like.

  i've learned that i cannot rely on the profile picture, since they change often.

  so, now i focus on the screen name.. anyway, in an effort to be more aware of some of you, how many served at bethel fulltime, and what was it like?

  in a thread started by uglyduckling she stated that her dreams were: "ghastly visions of bloody mayhem and mutilation, not only of me, but also my husband and my little dog.".

  i had been working with a therapist for about a year prior to leaving the borg and one of my complaints was that throughout my life i had a recurring dream of blood and guts.

  for example i would be walking down main street where i lived and there would be blood, guts, and body parts everywhere.

  okay, since i've been attending a new church, i've had the opportunity to sit on three committees.

  i've gone hog wild and volunteered for everything trying to make up for all the years that i couldn't do anything as a female in the kh.

  anyway, last night i stirred the shit in one of the meetings by voicing my opinion on how something in the church is run.
