If you believe this is the truth and your religion is backed by jehovah god, why aren't you proud of the disfellowshipping and shunning practices?
Amen.
makes a good point.

we are both off of work due to sick kids.
while cooking lunch he turns to me and says, i don't know anywhere in the bible that jesus would give dates about the end coming.
he said to love, forgive, and love some more.
All for show - not enough hugs in the world right now, that is such wonderful news! Keep holding your breath for now and see where he leads next.
Alexandre - that is also wonderful news! When jws are awake enough to see that the GB actions don't match what they've been preaching, it's an amazing thing.
check out the new jan 2015 study wt, article, they offer themselves willingly.
they give examples of young and middle age brothers and sisters who are selling their dream homes, uprooting their lives, etc, to move to help w/ building branches, etc, and how they know it's only temporary but not worried about what happens when they send them home.
they then say will you put jah to the test and see if he won't open the flood gates of blessings for you.
This is just CRAZY. CRA-CRA to the MAX. As if even ONE of those rich GBers would ever have a family member do what they are asking/telling everyone else to do.
We have got to find ways to WAKE THESE SHEEPLE UP!
i think that tv.jw.org is the greatest slap in the face that apostates ever received.. what do you think?.

They are well aware that younger ones (and many not-so-young ones) are tuned into their wireless devices almost 24/7. It's not a great stretch to stick themselves in the middle of that world so that tech-savvy young ones can be even more firmly brainwashed.
My young adult child has bought it hook, line and sinker.
They probably read your post.
i cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there is jw tv.
being a born in and living most of my life hearing how tv evangelism is wrong and lazy preaching yet seeing this unfold solidifies this religion as a cult!.
i remember back when i began my fade a few years ago i told my brother during an argument how this religion is just like any other religion in that its bull.
Here's the deal. We can all scream about it and tell everyone how wrong it is, and how it's nothing like the religion we used to know...and that's true.
However...they don't care about us, or the older ones, or the born-ins, or anyone who is already stuck in the bOrg.
What they care about is continuing the revenue stream by bringing in new ones who know NOTHING about all the "old" stuff we know.
These younger ones can be easily persuaded that this is cool because it's all on the internet! They will never experience the crap hours spent trudging door to door on a hot summer morning. They will never see the craziness from Russell or Rutherford or Knorr or Franz.
All they will know is Hey, this is fun, this is cool, let's try this on for awhile....and they will be stuck.
And the hamster wheel will continue to spin as more critters jump on for the ride.
my jw friends and family...already this morning, think this is the best thing ever.
gag.
at least me and my rebellious friends and siblings had a laugh.. .
I totally agree with you, Magnum, and hope they follow the sage advice of Poopsiecakes. What a bunch of bizarro weirdness, yes?
i've heard about his bombastic, overly patronising, cartoon-ish delivery before, but i'd never actually seen it...until now.
and i should add, this religion bears little to no relation to the one i left 6 years ago.. .
.
Sadly, my adult child thinks this is all too wonderful. Makes me soooooo sad.
so i had to see what the hubbub was about.
pointed my browser to the tv site and started watching the streaming video of the prodigal son.. here's my review:.
first, not a lot of dialogue.
And so true to life...dad crying (sure)...mom crying (more likely)...both parents crying with the elders (no way).
my wife and i still like each other.
fortieth is "ruby.
" since rubies aren't in the budget, we went to ruby beach for the weekend.
Lovely. Congrats!
