Check out the new jan 2015 study WT, article, they offer themselves willingly. They give examples of young and middle age brothers and sisters who are selling their dream homes, uprooting their lives, etc, to move to help w/ building branches, etc, and how they know it's only temporary but not worried about what happens when they send them home. They then say will you put Jah to the test and see if he won't open the flood gates of blessings for you.

Let's see how many end up jobless, run out of savings, etc, just to have the WT say, "Ask the relatives you are shunning for help", etc.

It's their business model now. Being a publishing house is not as important as being a real estate holding company.

Donations, free or discounted labor, choice locations and time to allow the investment to go up in value is what works for them these days.

They have been a real estate development company for many years, you just did not notice.

With the decrease of branches, they are just upgrading some of the ones that remain....No one will want to go to Africa for sure.

This is just CRAZY. CRA-CRA to the MAX. As if even ONE of those rich GBers would ever have a family member do what they are asking/telling everyone else to do.

We have got to find ways to WAKE THESE SHEEPLE UP!

    Here are some direct quotes,,,,

"Then we moved out of our 2,200-square-foot (200 sq m) dream home that we had built just a couple of years earlier and moved into our 270-square-foot (25 sq m) apartment. Making these changes,” says Cesar, “put us in a better position to accept an invitation to Bethel, should one come our way.”

"For example, Way, an electrician, and Debra, both in their late 50’s, sold their home and most of their belongings in Kansas and moved to Wallkill to serve as commuter Bethelites. * Although doing so required making adjustments in their life, they feel that the sacrifices have been well worth it. "

"Melvin and Sharon sold their home and belongings in South Carolina so that they could assist at Warwick. Even though these sacrifices were not easy to make, the couple feel privileged to be involved in such a historic project"

"Most of those who have made themselves available had to overcome certain obstacles. For example, William and Sandra, who are in their early 60’s, were settled, enjoying their life in Pennsylvania. They had a successful precision machining company that employed 17 people. They were serving with the same congregation they had been in since they were little children, and most of their relatives lived in the area. So when the opportunity arose to serve as commuters at Wallkill, they knew that it would mean saying good-bye to almost everyone and everything familiar to them."

"The construction projects at Wallkill and Warwick will eventually be completed, so those who have been invited to assist realize that their Bethel service is temporary. Are these brothers and sisters overly anxious about where they will go or what they will do? Not at all! Many share the feelings of two middle-aged couples from Florida.John, a construction manager, and his wife, Carmen, who serve as temporary volunteers at Warwick, say: “We have seen how Jehovah has cared for our specific needs up to this point. We reason that Jehovah certainly has not brought us here at this time only to abandon us later.”"

"However, they put Jehovah to the test—just as he invites all of us to do: “Test me out, please, . . . to see whether I will not open to you the floodgates of the heavens and pour out on you a blessing until there is nothing lacking.”—Mal. 3:10.

Will you too test Jehovah out and experience his rich blessing? Prayerfully examine what you can do to have a share in the exciting work at hand, whether in New York or on other theocratic building projects, and see firsthand how Jehovah will reward you."

So......couple nearing retirement age with a business and assets to support the rest of their life get rid of it all. And many others did the same. What happens when they run out of the money from uprooting their lives, jobs, and businesses?

Doesn't the bible say NOT to put God to the test? Have the GB no shame asking people to uproot their lives then leaving them in the gutter when things go bad for them?

    Jeez!!!

That's too bad that those people are doing that. Old age, and/or sickness or bad health is going to slip up on them and they're going to have nothing. They'll be wards of the state, and that's not enough money to get by. But then, that's how they'll think Jehovah is providing.
