  One elder in our cong.truly believed his wife got her periods twice a month ,good ploy ladies if you can get away with it ,she did.

  She was always on deaths bed so to speak supposedly her body was filled with cancer and this elder who was also into new age medicines believed his wife could pass her cancer out on the toilet.

  The funny thing is he knew the bible and could use it to his advantage I was with him one time when we called on a minister of religion and he ran rings around this Xian minister .

  maybe i`m just getting old , jesus christ was king of the jews 2,000 years ago ,he was supposed to have returned in 1879 ?

  and armageddon was to have occured in 1914 ,which of course didn`t happen .. and then wt in their wisdom adjusted that belief to mean that was when he was enthroned as king to sit at gods right hand .right ?

  or am i wrong here.. or was he just to sit at gods right hand until god makes him a king after armageddon .?.

  In other words he is not a king right now.

  Now is 1914 the start of the 1,000 reign or not I seem to be getting two lots of messages here .

  Some seem to believe his 1,000 reign doesn`t start till after Armageddon .

  And some seem to believe here that his kingship started in 1914 and he has done SFA for these past 106 years.

  So which is it ?

  SFA ...sweet f***k all for those who don`t know.

  In 1960 i was told that this system of things wouldn`t / couldnt last much longer that 5 years at the most ,32 years later I left .

  And why did he ask the sun to stand still ? wasnt he aware that the earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa ? And spins on its Axis ?

  If jehovah had listened to Joshua to give the appearnce of the Sun standing still and actually stopped the earth rotating on its Axis ?

  Armageddon would be like a picnic in the park .

  Special meeting next month (February 2020)

  it was announced today that we will have a special weekend meeting next month.

  it will be 3 hours long and will include some streamed content.. no explanation was given as to what the meeting will be about, only that it will be exciting and we will not want to miss it..

  Fundraiser: Pancreatic cancer : Raffle Man Utd shirt signed by team

  you might have noticed some of my comments over the last few months have been a bit down.. you see my wonderful brother, marcus, is terminally ill with pancreatic cancer.

  to make things worse, as if they could be, he was finally blessed with his first child, liliana, 19 months ago and we're all absolutely heartbroken for this little girl.. my sister joined a running club some years back and she's finally got a place to run the london marathon 2020. she's donating money raised by the run to pancreatic cancer uk.

  they're currently researching for a test...its basically why the prognosis for this cancer is so poor, there are few very specific symptoms... until it's too late.. her footie mad boyfriend has got his paws on a signed man utd football shirt which they are raffling.

  Years ago the Guiness Book of Records had a similar account of the most distributed books in the world and in the top ten were at least 2 JW publications ,one was "The Truth That leads To Everlasting Life " book and I think the other was "From Paradise Lost To Paradise Regained "

  The Bible always seems to give the death of the Israelites as zero when its a war Jehovah blesses .

  Obviously its not though when you consider the death of Bathsheba`s husband .
