A flood of abuse cases might eventually be the undoing of the corporation, but I think when or if that occurs they will just play the persecution card and say they are going underground (perhaps literally at new HQ). The everyday dub doesn't know anything about this issue. Try asking any of them about the Conti case. It is a classic example of the 'I' in BITE. They control the 'I'nfomation most dubs are exposed to. Having said that, I do think it will have a positive effect on those partially-awakened ones sitting on the fence who are internet aware, particularly the younger ones. I hope it gets some press.

Couple of observations:
First: the guy is not a good speaker (or even reader) although he probably thinks that he is. What makes it worse is that he sounds like he is actually enjoying himself (as in: I am so clever and witty! He said - this has not been the most warm and fuzzy talk of the convention; really?).
Second: loved the point he made at 4:04 - Our relationship (with JHVH) is between us and JHVH alone. Again, really? I thought we couldn't have a relationship with JHVH apart from his appointed channel (GB). It seems to me they have inserted themselves into the equation.
Third: is every talk from now on just going to be some eager beaver reading from a bullet list of 3 things to do, 3 things not to do? It seemd like every talk on the convention at the DC was written by someone who just discovered PowerPoint. No sentences with more than 10 words. Maybe they should just print out the outlines to save the poor people taking notes some ink.
Might try to get the wife to watch it (if I feel brave) as this is one of the few areas regarding WT doctrine where I know she isn't totally on board.

Run away. Quickly, while there is still time. Lots of people want to help others. This is not the way.

In contrast to the KM song - Listen, Obey and be Blessed, I always liked the thought in Proverbs chapter 3 (forgot the verse) where the advice was to safeguard practical wisdom and thinking ability. Seems they left that part out of the song title.
Sorry: my bad. I just saw the part about misinterpreted.

Yes, of course! I would love to spend all my free time (or time when I could be working to put food on the table) sitting at a metro station giving away free 'bible-based' literature to people who are not interested (and also have to put food on the table). It makes perfect sense!

Do you remember your Baptism Talk?
by bildad indo you remember anything from your baptism talk or the brother who gave it?.

I don't remember the talk or the speaker. All I remember is some twit walking the line looking for stories they could use. When he quickly discerned that our story was not sensational enough, he moved along. I would like to kick myself in the ass for being such an idiot.

I had 'friends' that were pushing some king of juice (noni?) tell my teenaged type-1 diabetic son that he could stop taking insulin once he started drinking their juice. I was ready to strangle them!

Tree Hugging
by still thinking intree hugging now scientifically validated .
die hard conservatives love to disparage liberals as tree huggers, but it has been recently scientifically validated that hugging trees is actually good for you.
research has shown that you don't even have to touch a tree to get better, you just need to be within its vicinity has a beneficial effect.. in a recently published book, blinded by science, the author matthew silverstone, proves scientifically that trees do in fact improve many health issues such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), concentration levels, reaction times, depression and other forms of mental illness.

There is lots of stuff out there on the web. Even some of the site's promoting NI generators have some good links (of course they would). Wiki and WebMD are good places to start.
