A Breakthrough?
by Quendi ini'd like others' thoughts on this development for me.. i was disfellowshipped seven years ago and made up my mind never to return some two years ago.
most witnesses have shunned me, of course, but there are some still in the organization who associate with me.
one of them lives in southern california and has never ceased supporting me in various ways.

Do not watch this video if your a devout JW
by iamwhoiam in...the reason being is that you will see how it all works...it is very scary and it will definately make you doubt.
this maybe about scientology, but just replace that word with jehovah's witnesses and there is absolutely no difference.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfdl6ga1di0&feature=related.

I made it!! I'm just so freaking happy!!!
by Rocky_Girl inas some of you know, i started college 5 years ago for the first time at age 27. i had been out of the "truth" for 9 years at that time, but had just broken free of the mentality.
well, on saturday i walked across the stage with the 130th graduating class at rocky mountain college!.
after 5 years of working several jobs, taking care of two little boys as a single mom, and trying to get the most out of my college experience, i earned my master of accountancy, bachelor of science in business management, and minors in writing and organizational leadership.

I started a small blog with theories I have had over the years, would like input
by logical1 ini'm not going to post the link here as i both want it to be completely anonymous (no connection to me on any other website) and i don't want to violate forum rules.
they are theories i developed based on being raised as a jw and taking philosophy classes.
please reply to this if you'd like to check it out and give me feedback and i will pm you the link.. thanks.

Hello... this is me and my story...
by jamir ini was raised as a jw, baptized in a 1998 district convention, somewhere in portugal.. studying with jws had some positive things (not many... just a few).
i learned to read before going to school and developed this excelent skill of reading, interpreting and resuming texts.
i was an excellent student.. as a teenager my life sucked (and i considered it a "privilege" at that time) because i simply couldn't enjoy these best years of my life, because had to avoid all contact with people of my age (there were no young people in my congregation) so i lived the best years of my life as a "forever alone".

Introduction Bio
by JakeM2012 inhi everyone, i would like to introduce myself and tell my story.
from the standpoint of being one of jehovahs witnesses, my whole family is deeply involved as i was the 5th generation of witness and any children that my brothers or sister have will be the sixth generation.
as some of my brothers and sisters are grandparents, i guess that makes their grandchildren a potential 7th generation.
