Modern replacement for make sure of all things book

question please for one of jehovah's witnesses i'm doing some prison ministry.

you used to have the make sure of all things hold fast to what is fine book what is the modern equivalent of this book i need a book which lists the bible topics and where to actually find them in the bible can somebody give me a pointer?.

I belonged to a congregation that had 2 prisons in its territory. The inmate "publishers" were officially part of that congregation. 4 elders conducted the meetings at each facility, 2 at each.

I remember how one of those elders would constantly berate the members of that congregation and used the example of the inmate publishers to contrast on things like meeting attendance and time spent in the ministry.

Anytime one of these inmate publishers paroled they would attend our meetings. The parolees spent their time trying to get money, jobs, a place to stay from the brothers, and chase sisters in the congregation. If they didn't violate their parolee and get disfellowshipped they would just get disfellowshipped.

If Jesus were ever lost it would be easy to find him. Jesus is in every prison and jail. Just ask the inmates who are looking for him.

Why Are Schools Targets Of So Much Gun Violence?

The answer to the question asked will lead to the root cause of this issue.

I can provide a unique insight to something similar going on where I live. Over that past year we have had a rash of Murders in our jurisdiction. The suspects are all ages from 17 to 19. I arrested an 18 year old who shot and killed a kid for paying him $120.00 in counterfeit money for marijuana. Here is what I found interesting.

We regularly monitor the jail calls of these suspects. Each and everyone of them exhibit the same behavior on the phone with their parents. These suspects are in complete shock that they are sitting in jail. They literally cry "Mommy" to their mothers and complain about having to be in jail. The parents conversely assure their child that they will put large deposits of money on their child's commissary account and will pay for the best legal counsel possible.

I arrested another 17 year old who, with his 18 year old buddy, attempted to beat to death another high school kid who they thought told the local police of their low-level marijuana trafficking. The victim had his ocular bone crushed and lost sight in that eye. The suspect I arrested asked if he could stop by Panda Express to get something to eat before going to jail.

I am not sure where this complete disconnect with reality has come from. What I know is that this is definitely tied in with these mass murder incidents in public schools in the US.

his was a non violent offence.. what no community service?

In a free society a government has only 2 functions - 1. National defense and 2. Provide a justice system for those wronged criminally or civilly. All other matters of daily life should be run by the people and a free market.

It's not some much that "there is no organization more deserving" as much as it is well overdue. It's time. It's time that the whole world and all the people of it be educated on what this organization is really all about. It's time for all the dark places and the places made secret be exposed.

I have no doubt that all of this has little effect on those who are currently Jehovah's Witnesses. It is my hope that those who are not Witnesses be educated in what the organization is all about and assist them in rejecting this horrible religion. It is my hope that, in my lifetime, not one person gives any Witness the time of day when it comes to their message. That every minute spent knocking on doors, going house to house, "street witnessing", and "informal witnessing" is a minute completely wasted which in turns yields zero results. I want Witnesses to get to the point that they are so dejected by the fact that everyone refuses to listen to a word they have to say that each and ever Witness questions why they even bother to participate.

well, the title says it all.

the dutch government will look into the possibility to revoke the charity status of jw after they refused to cooperate in the child abuse scandal.. the government urged the jw to start an independent investigation into the jw child abuse issues, and after some stalling the jw flatout refused.

unfortunately the government can't really force them.. the chance that the charity status is actually revoked is very small as there appears to be no legal basis to do so, but right now the government and house of representatives are very annoyed with jw.. and in the meantime the da will continue their investigation based on the victims officially reporting abuse to the police..

i was thinking of how this condition is similar to the proverbial glass prison, how jw are unknowingly confined by the walls of their belief while observing life around them but are truly captives to a concept as ray put it.. .

The worst prisons are the ones with no walls. That's definitely the life of a JW.

jws are taught to think in a childish, simplistic and paranoid way.. the ticket to paradise includes a gory bloodfest of unimaginable proportions.

and jws calmly and unquestioningly trust and even look forward to this happening.. what about the morality of this unprecedented solution to mankind’s problems?

(there is evidence in the earth’s crust that noah’s flood never happened so it doesn’t count as a precedent).. sweep all of your problems under the biblical carpet and you know that god will sort it all out by the ultimate act of near total genocide—or not!

Here in lies one of the greatest paradoxes of the Christian faith.

The Almighty creates humans with freewill. They are free moral agents. However, if they chose not to worship him they are to be executed.

Furthermore, the Almighty of the Christian faith "is love". He is supposed to be the personification of love. Yet, we see how unloving he is with his death sentence for non-believers.

The Christian god is supposedly not above his own laws. That is why we are supposedly having this whole testing period due to the challenge of Satan. Yet, when Jesus comes to Earth he tells his followers that we are to love our enemies in following his example. How can you simultaneously love your enemies while destroying them for simply not believing in you?
