I have always wondered how is Armaggeddon going to happen?
by booker-t ini have always wondered if jehovah and jesus are going to announce to the world that armaggeddon has arrived or will people just guess that it is armaggeddon or will there be a newsflash that the world has entered armaggeddon.
the bible seems to contradict on armaggeddon.
jesus says that armaggeddon will come as a "thief" in the night.

Mankkeli, a couple of simple questions for you
by Tempered ini haven't read your entire story, but some of your thread topics/questions have piqued my interest.
on your thread "how long can one continue as an unbelieving jw?
" you made the statement that you are currently serving as an elder.. may i ask how long you have been serving as such and how old you are?.

How long can one continue as an unbelieving JW?
by mankkeli inis it really possible to continue as a jw but not believing in it anymore.
for how long can one keep up with this pace of life?.
i will appreciate it if any scientific study had been done on this and what has the result showed?..

Are you sure leaving the JW religion has made your life better?. Lurkers think twice
by mankkeli inon this forum, i have carefully read most of the experiences of those who left the jw religion, i have even read experiences that have dated back to 2001, i have read the different circumstances surrounding their exits and what ensued upon leaving.
for the majority, i observed they are better remainning in the religion than leaving.
what benefit is there to strain family relationship because you want to be free?, please tell me, of what value is that freedom?,.

Hello--new to the witnesses...and you
by LKM injust wanted to introduce myself.
i went to the kh for the first time 2 weeks ago...and will go again tomorrow.
i don't believe anything witnessy...(i was raised in the assembly of god church and now the closest thing i "do" with religion is yoga or sometimes the buddhist temple).... but the man i'm in love with is a df'd jw (we've been together for 6 years).... and he wants to get reinstated just to talk to his family again (i can assure you he does not believe it).... and he wants his family to accept me because we are about to get married... so, i'm going to meetings...its very interesting, but only because it shows me more about how he was raised.

Something funny I saw that made me think...
by OneDayillBeFree ini was at the store the other day and as i was getting ready to pay, a baby no older than 3 years old came running out of nowhere and stopped, looked at me and sat down.
it was the weirdest thing as i saw no mother or father in sight... then i looked closer at the shirt the baby was wearing and it made me laugh but at the same time left me thinking.
soon after that a woman appeared yelling her baby's name and looking everywhere.
