Few years ago we had a tornado hit our town. About a doz. homes were destoryed. One was a sister in our hall. I got a call from the Ass. CO for our area about the disaster. He asked what happen. I told him about a doz. homes were destoryed and one was a sisters home. He didn't find it note worthy to report it to the WT because of only one sisters home and the rest was worldly people homes. I told him they are poeple to and need our help. He told me they don't matter only the friends matter. This is the attitude of the WT cult. If they can't use the story to show the outside world how they help their members they don't care. Their whole thinking is way off base. Totally ADD

I understand what you mean C.C.. I have been in construction trade for 40 years now and even though I love what I do it hard on the aging body. The biggest problem I have is in the morning after I wake up. When I get up and wake around the house doing my normal routine my legs start cramping up and I have to sit down for about 10 mins. to relieve the pain. After that it seems to be OK. Also around 2 in the afternoon my energy level goes down to zero. I guess this all comes with age. But it sure gets in the way of getting things done for me. I guess that is why my wife and I are starting a donut store. It's long hours but not as hard on the body. Take Care. Totally ADD

My family just found out my grandfather died...6 months ago!

Sorry for your loss. Because of the JW cult I never got to know any of my so called worldly relatives. In FL I would see many single older women go after men who just lost their wife to death. Many times would breakup the family. Many times the adult JW children were worried about their inheritance because the new wife had her hands on it. All JW cult victims. They just don't know how to show love to each other. I know you are upset and have the right to be but take a deep breath and consider some of the suggestions others have given you. Apostafest weekend

ok the apostafest consisted of only 3 people, but it was a weekend to let out all the supressed emotions from 26 years of wt slavery.
we went to a heavy metal concert in a pit full of moshing and crowd surfing, screaming along to their lyrics (my throat is sore).

School for Congregation Elders
by C.O.B.E.Beef ini attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.
i was already divided in my heart to say the least.
one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.

Our first apostafest was a great success
by TotallyADD inmrs. reopened mind and i still have big smiles on our face over the fun time we had with our new found friends.
outatlast who had to drive the farthest arrived first followed by mrfreeze and later on paulnotsaul and his family arrived.
we talked, we laughed, had moments of reflections and some new revelations on things.
